I was hired as a maintenance worker..keeping the building clean. I mostly stayed upstairs in the restaurant wiping down tables after customers were finished eating..I answered questions that people had and greeted customers as they came upstairs when it wasn't so busy..I never had a complaint against me and all they employees like me..I also kept they bathrooms clean and the co-worker break room..I liked and needed my job for I'm a single parent just trying to make ends meet. I was told at 11:30 at night..the night I volunteered to help the company out with inventory the my services were no longer needed because they felt I didn't worker hard enough..I lot of the time the the upstairs area wasent crowed at all and all I could do was stand there waiting for someone to get up so I can clean the space..but it was the in between time that they said I could have been doing more like "cleaning the windows" when they have a win down cleaning crew..I was escorted out buy security and I cried all the way home..I even told them of the time I came to shop on my day off and the store was a mess and I'm the one that cleaned up there display that was all over the floor...I'd rather they said we just didn't like me than for them to tell me I didn't work hard enough...smh
What is the store's flood mitigation strategy when the next Sandy hits? Why isn't the store raised above ground like Ikea? I wish this video discussed the brownfield cleanup more specifically - how safely capped are the dangerous chemicals that existed on the land? (I believe they used capping technology versus total removal.) Is there any danger of leeching (like is happening at the Lowe's site nearby.) And how does a parking lot that encourages driving support environment stewardship?
Dude, you're so negative. I would love to see you drive your bicycle home with $200 worth of groceries in the basket. Also, who says that people aren't driving electric cars there?
Warren Cohen Thanks for the decent reply. I am pleased to see their green initiatives taking place; now that the solar infrastructure is present, hopefully other stores and vehicles will follow suit. As for the environmental safeguards, we all have our work cut out for us to help change modern industry as a whole. :)

Not trying to be negative - honestly curious.
They do have reserved parking spaces for a couple of "fuel efficient" vehicles.
