Would be really nice if the people who made the S3XY buttons made one of these which is also programmable. I like having a USB-C connector on the top.

They are taking pre-orders for the "S3XY Knob" now.

I hide the buttons on the back of the screen, they work great!

That’s a good idea. I also saw them under the center arm rest.

The buttons are dope but yes it would nice if they were customizable.

Maybe they need to have a companion app or something.

I personally love the S3XY buttons because they have way more functionality. This is a cool concept though.

@@KobraToldYa They are a great product. Great company too. They bought a new Model 3 Highland in Europe to test their stuff on. They lent their new car to several channels (Out of Spec, Tesla Flex) for early reviews. They also took the new car for a lap on the Nurburgring. In the rain. On stock tires.
The buttons go on sale several times a year. Very clever product. Well engineered. New features are added via OTA updates.

I own a Tesla and don't see the need for physical buttons...
Honest question to all you buying these products, are you struggling with the UI? What need is there for them?

The physical feel of the buttons is not why people buy S3XY Buttons. The reason is the good software of S3XY Buttons. Tesla is an amazingly cheap ev considering its power, but the software is clearly not Tesla's strong point and the car even has dangerous bugs that can be fixed with the help of S3XY Buttons.
For example, the Tesla lacks a proper adaptive cruise control. But Tesla has the so-called autopilot (which of course has its own problems), but you can't use autopilot because it forces the automatic windshield wipers on, which again works like Elon Musk's mind, i.e. the opposite of what would be logical.
But when you get the S3XY Buttons, you can use the autopilot and use the button to disable the wipers that start in dry weather.

They are a pain. If you have people talking in the car, it’s super annoying, or if you are on a phone call. Also, it’s just annoying period. How about putting buttons back in the car. There were there for a reason.
