Such powerful insights and wisdom. Thank you for reminding us that each moment is precious, and we have a choice to focus on what is most important to us so we can live regret free.
"Limits force innovation and creativity." Thank you for sharing such an important and powerful message that creating a work-life balance is not only important but possible!
There is always more work to do and never enough time...especially as an entrepeneur. I love this message of being intential with the boundaries of your work time and have focused energy and space for the people that mean the most. Thank you Dr. Sabrina!
“I want my work to support my life.” That was one of my favorite lines. I hope more people will have work that supports their lives so they can have “the gifts of no regrets.”
What a great encouragement to make the right choices. Sometimes it takes someone like you Dr Sabrina to help us get on track and stay on track. Thanks for bringing this to us!
Thanks Dr. Sabrina. This is such an important message that gives hope to those of us on the entrepreneurial journey. It's too easy to get trapped on the treadmill of overwork. It's hard to set limits and requires intentionality. Your talk provides the inspiration so many of us need to reset and focus on what's most important.
I’ve known Dr. Sabrina since 2016, when I started my creative business. I’ve worked with her on numerous projects and have been hands on at many of her business retreats. She is top of class. I’ve learned a lot by being among her and even working with her clients. Definitely give her a deep dive and learn more from her about improving your business and learning how to hire “A Players” to your team.
The stat about half of us neglecting basic needs in the last 3 days should be enough for us to admit that we need serious change in the balance of our work lives!!
Such a great talk! I wanna make sure that I am full and ready to be emotionally engaged with my kids so I don’t give it all to my clients and they have what they need for me. Such a great reminder.
Well said Dr Sabrina! As a Care Provider for over 14 years, I was always of the mindset that top quality care came from always being available. Always sacrificing time. Putting work before anything else. Operating like this for so many years resulted in burnout in a really big way. It wasn't until I started listening to this message many years ago, summarized in this talk, that I realized there was a way to do things differently. There was a way to balance work and life and eliminate the burnout that plagued me. I am still learning, but I can confidently say, I like your way better. I have experienced more freedom AND the funny thing is, when that balance is in place, work is less of a struggle AND the people we serve are served better! Thank you for your message!
I had a Math teacher that taught me the secret to crush every day. Write out a list of all the things you need to do in the day. Order them by importance and work through them efficiently and to the best of your ability. Even if you only do item 1, it's still the most productive day that you could have and will do more for your lifetime success than trying to do everything poorly.
My Dad worked a heaps of overtime that he never got paid for because it was just expected at that job. Wish that we could've spent more evenings together when I was growing up.
I think this is a hard thing to manage, especially for people who over-identify with their jobs to the point where it makes up a huge chunk of their personality. Really hard to separate work life from real life for those people and it always ends in burnout.
9 out of 10 CEO's burning out. I know they get a bad rap, but I believe it. These people are not spending a month on their private yacht in some exclusive European destination, their working 100 hours a week and sacrificing everything for success in a single domain.
“The best gift we can give others is being fully emotionally present” ❤ Love this powerful message 🙏

I once heard someone say “We focus on making a living and not a life!” I like how this brings that home in a real way.
@@FireballSteve I love this saying as well.
Such a powerful message and reminder to slow down, be present and to dream big, play big, love hard! Thank you Dr. Sabrina!
We need more messages that help people avoid burnout. Thank you.

Love this so much, I wish I had learnt about setting boundaries and knowing my limitations at the start of my career

The balance she's talking about is something I wish I had learnt about earlier in life. I feel like I spent far too much of it focused solely on work

This is a beautiful talk.
The jobs we have so seldomly support our lives. The higher you climb the more that's expected of you.
