an official WEC game if they have what it says and is a proper sim, would be very cool. No diffrent than the F1, WRC or NASCAR games. Would be the best out of all of those infact

It being primarily developed by S397 on the rF2 engine gives me some hope it won't be a repeat of NASCAR 21: Ignition. Ignition trying to combine UE4 with rF2 engine is where I feel it really screwed up development. One of my big hopes was to have a career mode of the likes of F1, but seems the main focus is on online/coop. Interested to see how that coop plays out. A career mode where you have 3-4 players in the same car competing in a career mode would be pretty interesting. Also glad that it's planned to be a multiyear game. Hopefully that means we'll be getting GT3s added next year.
Am worried for rF2 now. Endurance and IndyCar make up the majority of its playerbase, and with WEC getting its own game as well as IndyCar, BTCC, etc, I'm afraid rF2 won't see continued development. Modding community is still strong for rF2 but would suck to see rF2 get tossed to the side while its playerbase get split up into 3+ difference games.
Yeah i didnt even think about RF2, will be intresting to see what happens with it.
im excited for the game but i dont trust most of what motorsport games say abt the release.

Because they have the WEC and LM license lol. It’s Studio397 that’s actually making it, so I do have some high hopes
