Regarding one film simulation, yes! Back in the film days, you experimented and found the emulsion that matched your vision, then you stuck with it. If you are going to have a style, then remove the variables that go against that style. I have one color and one B&W simulation loaded in my Q menu and I know my results will be consistent and repeatable. I know how the shadows will render and when exposure compensation with make the image better. Having a dozen simulations will just cause paralysis by analysis. The "Barn": I love when nothing in the frame gives away the date, no satelite dishes, no cell phone towers. These could have been made in the 1960s. My X-T2 is my beater camera. It's been replaced by a couple of newer model, so I don't have to baby it or worry about it being abused. It sits right next to my car keys on a shelf next to my front door. I'd leave my house without pants before leaving without a camera. Enjoyed this video!
“Leave the house without my pants before leaving without my camera” 😂😂😂 yes!!! Love that!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Glad you enjoyed the video 😊
Awesome video! I love the barn photos. I’ve been down with Covid for the last week or so. Feeling a bit better. Planning to get out in the country alone today to get some camera time in. Have a great day!
Top work Jason, love those Black and Whites cracking contrast. I can't honestly think of a day in the last 20 years when I've not had a camera on me (apart from the phone cam). A day without making a photograph is a rare sad dull day.
Awesome images Jason. Especially "The Barn". Thanks for the recipe; I'll put that into my XT-2 for my next walk in the woods. Cheers!
Thank you!

Very well said, and thank you. I’m looking forward to seeing more from you and that IR filter. I may have to pick one of those up.

So..about that camera bag. :)
I think that will be my next video. Going to try and shoot it today.
Acros, not "across". Good lord.
Where does it say across?
Oh and by the way, it’s Lord, not lord.
@@JLStreetDoc - In the video, you audibly say "across". And "lord" is just fine if you don't believe in such a deity.
