This game was so far ahead of it's time, the graphics still don't look too bad today. Hyped for Watchdogs Legion - simply because it's the closest we'll get to another Getaway. To think they disbanded the studio team for that stupid Eye Toy gimmick. Personally I'd rather have had the Getaway on PS3, like the tech demo promised.
Wonderful game and especially the dark, bleak and sinister soundtrack. Nimord's orchestra did a wicked job, so did Amon Tobin with that iconic theme. Great narration by Terence Stamp too, that's a nice touch. This game and the original Getaway should definitely get a brilliant remake 🙂 Cheers for uploading this.

It's on the NTSC version of the game, you have to complete it to unlock the Making Of. I got it from the game files and processed it with Handbrake for the upload.
If I was a video game producer, I'd definitely like to finally do a Getaway 3. You could even get some of the actors from these games to play older versions of themselves with modern motion capture. Really sad we never got that PS3 sequel.
I heard getaway might be making a comeback on ps5 and I had to go on youtube and see if someone has done playthroughs and I stumbled upon this.. Thank you so much for this, its might sound weird but this was my childhood. My dad bought this as his first ps2 game when I was starting primary school and since you couldnt just google things and find cheats we were stuck for a few years on one level and honestly if we werent, I wouldn't have remember it so well. This behind the scenes brought the chills and memories so honestly thank you so much.
I understand you bro since I played this game as a child that had zero knowledge of english. That means that I had to play each level multiple times just to learn what the game actually wants me to do. Took me months to pass like 4 missions. Finally completed the game just a few years ago (24 now). Loved it,great story. Definitely deserves a remake.
Kinda ironic that SGT Ben Mitchell is played by a guy called Bob Cryer, in the major UK TV Police Drama that aired for 20+ years “The Bill” one of the Sergeants is named Bob Cryer…..and not to mention the voice actor here himself starred briefly in The Bill…
Not long got my hand on this as I completely skipped by it at release. I just got to the very last chapter and giving it alil rest. Thus far I gotta say it improves on the first one in a few areas but the story and overall vibe was far better in the first. The first one felt like a guy Ritchie film this feels like it was made in a different vain which is ok but not too my taste. I'm still glad I played it finally as it somewhat bothers me when I don't get the chance to play a game I've planned too lol.

Well, I'm studying a way to create mods for this game, but I need the help of modders to help me modify the game and make it better than it already is, like increasing the game's map, adding new interiors, and other things. Anyone who wants to help me create mods for this game will be grateful.
