Wonderful game and especially the dark, bleak and sinister soundtrack. Nimord's orchestra did a wicked job, so did Amon Tobin with that iconic theme. Great narration by Terence Stamp too, that's a nice touch. This game and the original Getaway should definitely get a brilliant remake 🙂 Cheers for uploading this.

Absolutely masterpiece. Sad that there are no gangs in free roaming and Mitch has only HK69 in free roaming. Sad that there are no melee weapons in free roaming. Sad that cool places from The Getaway are closed (huge underground parking in Chinatown and mansion in Hyde Park). But this game is cool and it looks pretty modern. My favourite moment in the game is "AAI PIZDA POSHOL NAHUI" (Chapter 4)

Wow, thanks, I played it on the website when I was a kid. I must have been between 10 and 12 and I didn't really understand what it was. I've always had memories of it but I couldn't find any videos about it. And the website hasn't worked for years. Where did you find this?

Grand Theft Auto: London 2002

They spent so much money on marketing for this game it's insane, yet at the time I remember seeing none of this, although I was only 9 when it came out. So many scenes they actually filmed and visited in real life but never added as special features to the game. Seems like there's a scene they filmed with Joe Rice (Carter) at 1:05 which I am yet to see anywhere. This is the first time I've seen more real-life footage of the gang war with the Yardies and Triads as well. It can't have been cheap doing all this, I don't know why there wasn't more of this included in the game as add-ons or special features.

I know it's only a game, but I always felt a bit sorry for the guy getting electrocuted and beaten up. They did a good job of this cutscene imo.

If I was a video game producer, I'd definitely like to finally do a Getaway 3. You could even get some of the actors from these games to play older versions of themselves with modern motion capture. Really sad we never got that PS3 sequel.
