What I really loved about this movie and SSR's acting is that he was exactly like Dhoni. The little things, like the way he talks, the manner in which he talks, the slang and the calmness, the attitude, and of course, even the way he bats. The big shots look exactly like the shots young Dhoni used to play. It's perfect, to the point that I often forget that this is an actor playing MSD, not young MSD himself.
From being one of the best hitters whom the world respected to someone who played test in ODI slog overs and IT20 just to save his place in the team. What a journey of demotion.
