1:05) Train #2 - Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #580, with F59PHI #464 in the lead, occupied by a 3rd generation K5LA.
1:40) Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #582, with FphPHI #450 in the lead.
2:35) Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #784 (arriving at the Encinitas station) F59PHI #462 in the lead.
3:37) Amtrak #784 departs the station.
4:53) Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #591, with cabcar #6905 in the lead with a nice sounding 3rd gen. K5LA.
6:00) BONUS SHOT - (Laguna Niguel, Ca) Amtrak Pacific Surfliner #790, with P42DC #114 leading at 90MPH !!! Also, a 3rd gen. K5LA.

Great video of the Pacific Surfliner passing Encinitas just North of San Diego. On 5/27/2017 I will be riding on Pacific Surfliner train number 769 to Oxnard, CA for the day & return on Pacific Surfliner train number 1790 to San Diego after visiting in Oxnard & Ventura that day. I will be riding Amtrak's Pacific Surfliners between San Diego, Los Angeles & Oxnard more often when I'm visiting in the Civilized San Diego metro area.

I know Im replying 3 years later but these were powered by Diesel F59PHI Locomotives. These got replaced by the new Siemens charger SC 44 which is also diesel
