300k on this ZO6, is crazy! Looks like a well cared for car. I would drive it!
U can be sure it has been beat on at least half of those 300k miles 😂
I LOVE high mileage cars. Cars are tools meant to be used. No one brags about never using their $200 DeWalt drill because that would sound stupid. The high miles is proof it's built well. Find a 300k Ferrari. Not easy.
I never thought of it that way, great point. Almost 140k miles on my AMG. Im the 2nd owner, and it has been well taken care of. I love it.
I LOVE low mileage cars less problems lol
@@teddydavid2816 I must agree, got a bmw about to hit 190k, bad piston rings and bad brake booster , currently straight piped from cats back. Absolute money pit in oil and gas. Looking at a 09 vette with the ls3 at 80k miles, I’ll take a 80k vs 190k miles any day lol. , hopefully get one soon!🙏
$3.17 for 93 in September, man I miss the days....
You better not ever touch my Corvette with a forklift to change tires
But this week only we’re offering half off tire rotations!
That was cringeworthy, must agree.
@@scraplifegarage Hey bud do you still have the BLACK WHEELS & are they for sale if you do?????
@@poodlemike5120 apparently YOU didnt listen? They were cracked, welded and cracked again!!
@@jasonmacneil2256 Clown 🤡 I don't need for a car I need them for something else so mind ur damn business u a get further in life by doing that.....
I've owned 4 vettes and if you know what you're getting when you buy or what to look for you won't be disappointed. One thing I've learned is a Corvette is usually it's had it's ass kicked out by a prior owner are cared for better than your first born.
Love the Cup wheels with machined face, had those on my previous '13 GS and everyone loved the look. Great choice!
The very best tool you have is that forklift! :) Love this content.
Them wheels make the car look amazing
Nice choice on the cup wheeels
love the car hope you fix the bugs , love love love the color and the Wheels/Rims are perfect
Looks like you will be doing a motor rebuild, exhaust changes, A/C REPAIR, AND ELECTRIC REPAIR, AND REBUILD THE front end and rear shocks. Still a good buy if you are macanical inclined. That you for the video showing awesome video
Wow, you're definitely NOT "spelling" inclined! "Mechanically"!!
Exterior looks to be in great shape
Love watching your video m8,
keep up the good work.
It's crazy to see how many fork lifts are used to lift these cars coming from the auctions. I would imagine they create damage to the under carriage. Then again for a flip car, guess it doesn't really matter for the seller since they are usually written off.
Love the cup wheels. And the color of the car. Good luck
Magnetic ride control shocks are out is why its floaty.
thats bananas a car that has that type of power can make nearly 300k miles
Dont be afraid of high mileage cars. I love my 05 Grand Marquis. 245+ miles and it'll still break the ass end loose and get decent mileage on the hiway💯❤️👑💪🏿
I found a few Vipers with more than 100k miles. Cant beat american muscle.
Grounding issues? Well that sounds like a heap of fun…😳😳😳
Aluminum and fiberglass aren't the easiest to ground , but not impossible . And at least it doesn't have English wiring , or the problems would have started over 200,000 miles sooner .😂🤣😁
Awesome video continue putting out content God bless you
Did he say 100 miles home? Screw that 😂
Looks like someone got their money’s worth out of that car. I hope you get as many if not more miles out of it.
i worked in salvage yards all of my early life, ive used the forklift on my own cars as just a habit and a quick way to ger her off the ground, never damaged anything lol
The mag ride shocks likely need replacing, that's what one of those errors usually means... Check and see if they're leaking dark fluid. The exhaust tips are also crappy aftermarket...
Awesome video!!
Car still looks good. With some work it could be a good car again. How much did you pay for it?
The dash lights are an easy fix. Just clear the codes and the problems will be gone 🤣
Hows the suspension? On a high mile car changing out a worn suspension provides some of the greatest joy increases.
Bad suspension sucks. Those magnetic ride control shocks suck because they cost 500$ each and don't last that long. 50k -100k miles.
Those adv1 wheels were the shit few years ago 😂
Hopefully we can find someone stuck in the past and recoup a few bucks on them!
My Atomic Orange Z06 just let out a tear for it's AO cousin, forklift lift 😢
Those rims are radical….
I wouldn't be surprised at that mileage its on its 2nd or 3rd engine... So 295k on the body and probably many many parts replaced already. So if you got a good buy on it good for you, the body is fiberglass so its not rusting out anytime soon....... Be proactive and get the heads fixed at AHP asap.
You can keep the vette. I want the forklift.
Good car should last forever if it’s maintained right and swap consumable parts often
Wow! Personally having a 16k mile Z06 I can’t imagine someone putting that many miles on one! Mine has been a garage queen and probably for sale in 2023.
I’ll buy
I would drive it in a heart beat!
I go bronze concave forged brushed bronze with yellow willwood calipers
awesome color
whenever i saw him walk to the forklift i said, “ pls dont tell me hes about to pickup a corvette with a forklift”
Man, you are not lying about those CVS receipts. I’m trying to leave and I’m always waiting for this thing to stop printing. They must run through ink like nobody’s business.
i just tell'm i don't want the receipt
Well, at least She sure is PRETTY lol..
Best Of Luck To You, Keep zip the Good Fight.
How much did you get this for?
Black rims have grown on me over chrome or brushed..
You're lucky to have 93 octane where ever you ar. AZ gas sucks here with 91 octane being the highest. My car requier's 93.
It looks so funny when such car is on forklift. Yeah, why not when you need to fix something :-)
Thank ur corvette ...just subscribed keep up the good content👌
now I have a need for a fork lift 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah lifting the car with a forklift ain't cool in my opinion , and would never do that to my car
Ain’t no way 300k miles😂. I’d be happy to rebuild that motor and send the trans out though.
Mine has 90K miles and looks like it’s had over 300K that thing looks amazing inside and out. The cars also driving pretty bad as it jumps out of nowhere when driving straight . The fans don’t stopped working for the third time with bad coolant temp. Oil change required
Check Oil level…. No airbags seatbelt bolts are stripped. Idk what I got myself into. Oh it was a area led car so the from end is barely holding on 😂
You have a 200 mile commute to work?
Indeed
I’m curious at what the car cost you and what it’s worth buying anything with that milage is risky and the Z06 did really well didn’t catch fire didn’t strand you didn’t stall or fail to restart so yes hell yes I’d buy a higher mileage corvette if I found one in that shape 👍
Hey C6 ZO6 it’s a fixer I’d drive it
Never thought id see cambridge MD on youtube lmao
Eastern shore rep!
You guys put way too much trust in that little fork lift…
pretty car
is this LeeC parts by the bay bridge? I bought a Dodge Viper T56 for my datsun from you guys a few years ago. really cool to randomly come across this on youtube.
The one and only! Thanks for the business and thanks for watching
Pretty sure those are not the approved jacking points!!! LOL
If it still has the 7.0 engine, get those valve guides replace or they will grenade the engine!
what site can i get 2011 corvette parts from great show learn about vets
How many times has the engine been rebuilt?
What was that device you used for the tpms?
I fux widdit!!!😎👍🏾👍🏾
Is this Atomic Orange?
Seen one with 99k for $ 30k
As your driving im like I know where he is on Rt50 Lol.
I can not believe that asking price for c6 45 k
How much to Buy ?
I assume you sold it?
did you sell it ??
What was wrong with the original wheel?
It was cracked, welded and cracked again
How much did you pay for it ?
Is this the worst commuter?! Do you see some of the cars on the road today? Lmao
Fuck they drove the shit out of that!!! So would I!!!
original heads???
Stock heads, but no way to know if they are original, I don’t imagine they could be..
Do you do that commute every day??
Lately yes, when I’m not filming every day I work from home a couple days
@@scraplifegarage Jesus. I complained about a 40mile in the UK lol
Love the channel
755 h p
Sell me this!
Junk. Like mine lol.
That is not how you lift a corvette
It quite literally is how I lift a corvette.
Sell it to me I’ll buy cash
It’s for sale as a roller currently. Check the latest video on it!
How much u buy for
In this car for about 19k
Those wheels are terrible. Absolutely terrible . 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎. Didn't bring a mechanic to look it over first?........lol rookie.
My C6 has 200K
I agree. The C7 Grand Sport wheels look awesome and my favorite of all the Vette wheels.
I've seen multiple c5's above 300k so I don't doubt a z06 could do it too with proper maintenance. These engines last a long time.
no the LS7 doesnt last they have all kinds of issues. I'm assuming you have never owned one. The LS3 engines last a long time but not the LS7
@@snowlessSTI sure they do have a lot more common failure points, but those can be repaired before destroying the block
I’m interested. The C5 was the start of the really good corvettes to come.
You would never know the mileage by it's good looks. I liked the black wheels better. This is 2 years old, you prob. don't even have it anymore.
Wheels are a very personal thing , I don't care for those wheels - love your videos, watch them all
I really like to see some DISH!!
this color is amazingg.if you ever do giveaway il be grateful bc i wouldnt change anything on car
Thanks for watching!
This car didn’t meet a great fate, check out the ready of the series..
Got a nice replacement though!
@@scraplifegarage welcome and i hope it wasnt destroyed..i would of bought even with bad motor
Great wheels ? Black wheels are horrid
I am soooo glad I found this channel 3wks ago. Instantly my favorite! Keep posting the vids. I will be watching. Oh, and if you can, please do a Jaguar F type. I would love to see that.
I’m thrilled you like it man! Especially considering you’re watching these questionable old video 😅
I don’t have any jag plans at the current moment, but you never know!
Looks good... Can't imagine these low profile things are practical on real roads. Humm... 1500 rpm @ 69mph... nice... 25mpg?
Good luck with the "new" car. 🖒🤠
Run over a pothole you can change the life of a Corvette change the weight of oil anything and then pick it up with a forklift I don’t think so
Aye no cap whats the name of the tool u used to reset them tire pressure sensors
It’s an older Version of the Atec VT55
Shocked it didn't drop a valve in that time. Being 95% have worn guides in 10k miles or less
i would expect suspension parts like bushings, bearings, springs and shocks are all things that would need replacement. Also injectors likely need cleaning, sensors need resetting and some likely replacement. Battery replacement, ABS sensors, and all these things aren't actually really expensive things to replace (i dont expect a 300k mile corvette to be expensive to buy) but are likely to make a huge difference to the vehicle. Then have it serviced (oil and all fluids), check the relays and replace relays of things that aren't working properly, and have it balanced and aimed/straightened after the suspension parts.
all will always be more expensive than the actual value of the car but that doesn't mean it would be less fun. matter of fact, even if the engine is or goes bust, you can find a replacement engine with low mileage easy enough and have a great relatively cheap fun car.
Depends on how much you payed for it. If you pull the motor and rebuild it drop it back in with a refreshed trans then yeah sell it make some cash or keep it and make it nasty. Either way the c6 corvettes are timeless and will only go up in price. They are light weight and aerodynamic, the motors are stout and the mod game is endless with an after market to support it.
how much did you pay for the z06? i'm looking for one just like that one color and all?
Prefect vehicle to build into a track car, beat it mercilessly.
Can you tell me what you had to change/fix to make the windows work properly. My 07 is doing this now.
I have a 2008 corvette convertible, atomic orange and hopefully I will get the same high mileage too 😊
