Except I never really noticed a speech impediment on her Rs in all the stuff that I've seen having an eight-year-old daughter.
I think the voice should have been way more gruff and raspy. That would have done it, not the Elmer Fudd r's. The writing was good though.

I have said it before and I will say it again, Weekend Update being posted in its entirety is the very best thing about Monday mornings. The comedy flows much more smoothly. Funniest part of SNL, even funnier this way

@@turtlellamacow There's public support but also plenty of polls where a good chunk of American citizens would 'rather tackle housing crisis at home' & etc. I think it's how the question is asked. In addition there's a mild group of leftists that oppose military aid on anti war grounds, just for the principle I guess.
Generally, USAID struggles to get funding, even tho it's like less than 2% and typically results in massive poverty reductions. Just something about 'giving our money to other countries' - people don't really appreciate the full picture when doing a 3 min survey over the phone - those folks are typically older and more conservative too.

After the dumb sh*t Jerry Seinfeld has been saying, I’m disappointed that SNL had him on. He thinks he’s being canceled, but people just don’t like his jokes because they’re not funny.

So he should be cancelled for a lot of people, but those were probably mostly people who didn't find him funny anyway, because they are under 40, which coincidentally the age Jerry prefers to date.
That's why he's mad he can't do college shows anymore, he can't get laid with teenagers like he used to.

It’s ironic that Seinfeld has an issue with woke comedy, considering his comedy has never been edgy or controversial. He did his every man observation schtick for decades. Actually it was to distract from her being accused of being a dick to the children in the show she and her mother made. Didn't pay them according to the contract. Had them sleeping on the floor in people's houses rather than paying for accommodations as per the contract. Had disabled children dancing for 10 to 12 hours days, fudged the school requirements…
