This was a solid weekend update. I love how Colin is leaning into the "Colin is a terrible person" shtick.
I love how he and Michael each can take as much as they dish out. It's a good dynamic

Three guys who bought a boat was the funniest sketch in forever, especially with the breaks in character. Pete had me rolling. I know Lorne doesn't like it when they break character, but we the audience love it.

Usually he is flawless, but I think they three of them were having so much fun he had a couple flubs. But I don't care, that bit was pure brilliance.

OMG!! I loved the 3 guys who just bought a boat!! I laughed so hard I was crying! I don't know why Weekend Update was released in one segment, but I wish it was released like this every week!
It has been for a few months now. Just gotta wait until Monday and then look at SNL's full video lineup, not the weekly show videos.

Bowen always puts a smile on my face immediately. His energy just elevates every sketch
I’ve always felt similar but I feel like with every passing week he turns every character more and more superficial and spontaneous. I really don’t care when it happens when he plays spiders or icebergs or stuff cuz it’s really funny, but I’m hoping it doesn’t continue with people characters because the “gay” humor becomes less and less funny because he plays every character the same. I love Bowen and I’m all for him making every character like him but it’s starting to feel like he isn’t versatile anymore. Like with Kristen wiig you’re always like omg what does she have this time?? When Bowen comes out I just start to accept it’s gonna be some overly flamboyant character who has being gay as their only personality. Just my opinion tho I wish he did more characters

The BEST weekend update I’ve seen in a long time - which is saying a lot bc these two kill it every week. And Bowen is brilliant!
Sometimes, life just throws goodies at you even when u don’t deserve it. That’s the case with Bowen. Snl was fortunate to snag him. He’s truly a gem.
How is Bowen brilliant? He plays literally _the same exact character_ in every sketch. Stereotypically gay Asian. It's so tired.

This is one of the funniest Weekend Updates in a long time. Every little sketch including the news segment killed.

I love how Colin has changed his presentation from the handsome privileged white douche into the cast’s punching bag. It’s made him so much more likeable and fun to watch.
We need more Sarah Sherman. She’s my favorite new cast member, I love her vibe. Put her in a skit with Aidy and Kate. We need this!

@@Matt_Villines, they don't normally get the one-piece updates posted on Sunday morning, when plenty of insightful, focussed and high-res viewers tune in and have to piece the Update together outselves. Try it, if you think you can handle the pressure.
@@S.Pociecha I’ve always watched them separately, even after watching them live, and I still come back to the full upload on Monday. I’m one of maybe 5 people my age who openly admit to finding SNL funny and enjoyable past the first two seasons. Not a Pascal of pressure to be had; people just seem to need better retentive skills.

Glad to see the whole segment and not broken up clips. Especially since my cable went out that night because of a snow storm.
I love how, despite themselves, the crowd applauds Jost and Che kissing. Because . . . well . . . it IS sort of a thing.
