The reason i watch SNL at all,is KATE. She is so much like the girls a was attracted to growing up.I feel she would make such a good friend to have and while she may have her down moments from the pressure of being so well known in sure she is fun to be around.She is very pretty and it's remarkable that she can have makeup change her appearance so much as to be unrecognizable.i love her.All the best to her.I'm sure her family is so proud she is successful.I know i am.

I live in FL and I am astounded at this law. It's so ridiculous! I consider myself lucky though because my youngest is a junior in high school and therefore essentially has dodged this nonsense.
Considering it's only for 3rd frame an below I'm assuming most people's kids aren't going to have to deal with it. I don't see the fuss about it though. Oh no, teachers can't teach toddlers about sexual orientation and sexual attraction to the same sex. Oh the humanity 🙄
@@rexgunman847 It's not really about teaching them though. CONTEXT: I used work in daycare and my cousin teaches elementary school, additionally my mom homeschooled two of my siblings starting in elementary school. I mention this to say, that this issue doesn't come up, its not part of the curriculum during these age groups. That's one of the reasons this law is so bizarre.
In the name of parental rights, what they are doing delegitimizing and censoring things that may be occurring in some of the children's lives. How confusing it will be to a child who has two same sex parents who can't speak about it. What of a friend that came to play and witnessed it and decides to bring it up at school? Perhaps a child has questions that they don't feel comfortable asking a relative. Young children say all kinds of things in an unfiltered way or ask questions.
I can understand why some parents might be up in arms and concerned that their children are being exposed to things, concepts or ideals that may be contrary to their core believes while their children are away from them for so many hours a day. To that I say, if you're concerned about the info or environment that your child is in, respectfully combat it at home. No of us lives in a bubble.
@@Kattywagon29 how would this effect a child with same sex parents. They aren't being sensors from speaking to their own child. This law Is for the vast majority of children who don't need to be exposed to such topics at that young of an age. This doesn't inhibit any parents from teaching their children what they want. And just because it's not in the curriculum doesn't mean teachers aren't allowed to talk about these things which is the issue. It's to keep these topics out of the classroom to avoid injecting this info into children's minds that will just confuse them at a time where they are very impressionable.
@@rexgunman847 I didn't say that the parents were being censored. The teachers are being censored and/or punished if they speak on these things. Just to be clear, I am not advocating that these are the sorts of topics that need to be part of the curriculum at the specified age group.
They are saying that the teachers will be in trouble for discussing it at all. If a kid asks a question, which there will be some that will, they can't speak on it. If the kids are discussing these things the teachers are supposed to put a stop to it.
This law is hypocritical, they are complaining about injecting topics...etc and yet we are already doing that with things that young kids and even up to high school, but in reverse. We emphasize things that aren't important and downgrade things that are. The American school system is messed up and this unnecessary law spotlights that.

Second it's not that hard for a teach just not talk about the subject. as if not talking about sexualilty and various topics of the LGBT community are going kill teachers for just saying "sorry, that's a question for your parents."
