- I got out to get some more mullet as I use them as bait bits in the salt. I used garden earthworms that I breed in my worm boxes.
Always a good fishing trip

excellent for winter fishing
This was before winter actually...
Mullet Mad Dash! 😂 Get on them Dave! 👍🏽
Mulleting!!!!
I usually use bread under a float when I go. Never tried worms. Looks like a good strategy
Cheers for watching. The worms have been doing the task, they stay on the hook, fish chase them under a slow retrieve. Lot better catch rate than bread for me.
Nice videos mate! normally I sue fly fishing for mullet in fresh water.
Good stuff Larry. I've considered fky fishing, might get into it at one stage. Still...the goodold retrieve a worm under a float (plus lots of burley) does the task.
What I want to try is mixing a tiny amount of the liquid that comes out of the worm boxes with the berley - I’m going to try bread crumbs dampened with the worm Juice so I can form a berley ball . I have used crumbs to berley up trout at lake lyall and it drove them nuts !
That's a good idea. I was thinking of crushing up worms (as I have enough), and mixing them into bread burly, but the juice idea has merit for sure.
