Audi Q7 A6 4.2 Oil leak front harmonic balancer removal.

So the other day we were removing a harmonic balance or on an Audi 4.2 and even though we took the bolts out it’s still did not come right off like I think it should have so I called a friend of mine up over at Georges Forign Car Service here in Grand Rapids Michigan and asked him how I took it off he told me just to use a prybar and a hammer and work it free and that’s what I did. I was very careful with the prybar not to bend up the harmonic balance her and not just pray on it I kind of wiggled it from side to side with the prybar and lo and behold it came right off so hopefully this information is helpful if you own an A6,A8 or Q7 With a oil leak and you need to remove the harmonic balancer to check and make sure the front crankshaft is not leaking. That should be the same procedure on 2007 Audi Q7 2008 Audi Q7 2009 Audi Q seven 2010 Audi Q7 2011 Audi Q7 2012 Audi Q7 2013 Audi Q7 or 2006 Audi A6
