This is perfect information for anyone who is a newbie or newish. Perfect and great info. Loved your son in the beginning. So cute. Also enjoyed the movie clips. Keep on keeping it smell good. 😂😂😂
One of the best and informative regarding black tank maintenance but the toilet preventive maintenance was spot on. Great Job and Thank you for being so detailed in your explanation.
You are very good at making videos, we picked you over about a million other things to watch! But seriously I'm such a fan of your little man he's just awesome.
We appreciate it. Hopefully soon we will have some more interesting content to watch when we hit the road again instead of poo tank videos haha As always thanks for watching.
Such great information. We have a 2021 Grand Design 303rls Fifth Wheel. And we want it to keep operating smoothly. We just went full-time RVing last December. We are difently going to be using these products. You don't want your black or grey tank to fail you. We use those little packets that have purple stuff in them for our black tank. But I love what you use so much better. Your products seem to keep any problems from happening.
Oh cool that’s great. Yeah I’ve seen and heard from a few people who have switched over from those packets to the Happy Campers treatment. All I can say is we’ve been happy with it and everybody else I know has been satisfied as well. Thanks for watching.
Corbin was so funny at the beginning! LOL! We did not know about the bubble thing letting you know that your tank is full! Thanks for sharing! ~ Shion and Matthew
I really like the gallon counter for the black tank flush. I always wonder if it's full or not. That extra gate valve is a great idea too. We have been using regular toilet paper for the past 5 months with no issues, "yet"!
That gate valve is a game changer. Had a friend who’s black tank didn’t close right and when he took the cap off, BOOM! Sewage everywhere. This will prevent any accidents like that. Appreciate you watching! 👍🏼
@@WhyWait I had a horrific toilet smell. I spent the day after watching your vid and putting all its great info into action. The smell is gone! Thank you..Again! 💪👊
@@jeffmays7192 excellent! We have noticed since we were in NV with temps around 115 daily after about a week a smell would start to arise so in extreme heat we add more water and dump about every week vs every two weeks 👌🏼
Hi! Great video. We need to get one of those water meters so we don’t have to guess when it comes to our flush. Why didn’t I think if that ?! A year full time and we still need help! Thanks for sharing!
Very good video. We are not full time yet, but this was good info for everyone. Love Corbin, can't help but love the name because that's my son's name only he's 37 this year. Have safe travels.
Love Corbin- "I'm out" lol- RV sensors for tanks are so unreliable, thanks for the air bubble tip.. we need to get a water flow meter.. we love Happy Campers & use Angel Soft toilet paper.. Thanks for all the information & looking forward to your travels west! Chasing RV Sunshine 🌞Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya
Hello! I am curious about how you have your hose connected. I already have everything in my cart 🤣 but wondering what all you have connected to the 4way splicer? Pictures help even better! We are having a problem with strong urine smells coming into the undercarriage and mid bunk area. Hoping to knock it out with tips in this video!! Thanks for the info!!
I guess you are either talking about our portably water softener? On the Go Portable Water Softener: amzn.to/38Rhl8R Or the quick connect water connections: Quick connect water hose connectors: amzn.to/2LAcbFM We have another video on the water softener as well if that’s what your referring too. Hope this helps and thank you for watching.
Thanks for the tips. When you use the silicone plumbers grease do you coat the underside of the gasket where it contacts the plastic valve? Also, we tried Happy Camper powder but I found it doesn’t dissolve well in the cold water in the bowl. So I use RV Digest-It liquid. Have you tried the Geo Method (Calgon water softener and detergent) for your tanks? The Calgon water softener prevents things from sticking to the sides of the tanks. For the detergent part, we use liquid laundry detergent for the black tank and liquid dishwasher detergent for the grey tanks. I also occasionally use Super Clean degreaser in the grey tank, especially for the kitchen grey tank.
I try to just go ahead and coat the whole are top and bottom with the grease. As far as Happy Campers go’s I put it into a measure cup and stir it up real good then pour it into the toilet. Haven’t had a problem with clumps or smell 👍🏼Thanks for watching 😊
Is there a product to break down and remove any sludge or old stuff that has built up over time? We bought a used unit a year ago. 2015. We have to empty too often because of a terrible odor that comes up when flushing. We have used those drop in packets you can buy at Walmart. I didn’t know about Happy Camper til now.
Hey there! It’s funny I came across this right sense I’m actually working on part two of this video series. We have a new product we’ve been using and it’s great. From a company called Unique. They make a tank cleaner just for this problem. Pour the whole bottle down the tank to unclog and remove build up. It’s their tank cleaner. I put a link down below. Plus go check out their website, good tips on how to prevent this in the first place. Remember tons of water is key! Not a fan of or recommend those TST colored packets from Wal-mart. More of just a masking smell. Plus stay tuned for our upcoming video on the Unique products. amzn.to/3saYSNm
Curious if you would you happen to know the actual ingredients of "Happy Campers Extreme Holding Tank Cleaner?" I bought a container and am trying it out in our RV but, curiously, nowhere on the label, or on their website, do they list the ingredients. They simply describe it as "organic," "biodegradable," and "environmentally friendly." Some people say it's nothing but high-priced Trisodium Phosphate (TSP). 16 oz of TSP at Lowes costs $5. The 18 oz of "Extreme" I got on Amazon cost me $34. Wonder if you or anyone in your community might know what this white powder actually is. Thanks.
I’ve never used their Holding Tank Cleaner. I’ve only used their Holding Tank Treatment. Here’s the MSD sheet for their holding tank treatment I use. www.happycampersworld.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/MSDS.pdf
@@WhyWait Thanks. Reading that was fascinating. 11 pages of very detailed information about their product but not one word about the ingredients. I never knew a company could sell you a product but not tell you what exactly the product was. I'll try to find the MSD sheet on TSP to see if it and Happy Campers are one and the same. Thanks again. Really appreciate it.
Yes it’s a cleaner stick that has disposable attachments. You don’t even have to touch them. Put it on, scrub then release the pad over the trash. Here’s a link. amzn.to/3ymUrkK
