How does the Ford Ranger XLT fare compare to the base automatic variants in its competitors in the Philippines? In this video, we'll do an in-depth, full review of the 2023 Ford Ranger XLT. Have a 2016 Ranger, almost never put my elbow on the center box. Left elbow on the door, is an automatic. Love this truck.

thank you for confirming na may reverse cam to na may active guide line. Ung ibang reviewer na stuck lang sa wireless android and apple carplay. I think this is the best bang for the buck assuming na ndi issue transmission ng Ford. Madalas kse kapag ika 6th or 7th year nag fafail and since walang repair kit na lahat ng Automatic transmission, lahat palit.
Brought mine last December, so far okay naman.. Walang issue.

Can we have an in-depth comparison of Wildtrak 4x2 and Sport 4x4?
I already watched the other vid comparing all the variants of Ford Ranger and whose the best value for money but it wasnt in-depth enough for me.
For example, Wildtrak has rear vents while Sport does not(i think?) and more.
Im not sure which features does Wildtrak has over the Sport except for the larger screen while the other has 4x4.
I read it somewhere but is it really true that the 10-inch screen is laggy/slower to respond compared to the 12-inch?
Does the extra features in Wildtrak worth it over a 4x4?
Im not even sure if there would be a time that I use the 4x4 feature since it would be my first car(hopefully).
My main usage would in hiway but here in the province so there would be no major traffic and not seeing the need of auto breakhold feature.
Sometimes would be carrying some sacks of palay from the field the our house.
Will ocassionally travel to cities like Manila or Tagaytay or if ever in the future were required to report to office.
And also will go car camping with the family maybe 3 to 4 times a year where I might be able to use the 4x4 feature but I think most camping sites are reachable by 4x2 vehicles?
There are lots of questions in my head thats why I need an in-depth review of these two variants if possible.
And also, do you guys have any idea when will the excise tax be implemented? I will not be able to buy a pickup if it got implemented before June, I cannot take that 20% large price increase because of my limited budget

Once u go 4x4 u never go back. So much peace of mind na hindi ka mababalahaw. Pumunta kami lake mapanuepe kayang kaya ng 4x2 pero iba talaga hatak ng 4x4 sa off-road and malaki chance na mababalahaw ka sa 4x2. Makikita at mare feel mo lang talaga difference nila if andun ka na situation na yun. Sana makatry ka sa friend or sa agent mo ng 4x4 para maka pag decide ka talaga ng Mabuti since onti lang difference ng sport 4x4 sa wildtrak 4x2.
Better Ford than the Territory Titanium+, IMHO in term of build quality and durability

Still not yet decided if XLT 4x2 AT or Navara VE 4x2 AT. What would you recommend?? A big factor for me is reliability and after sales. Would want something that would last longer and not as expensive to maintain
Probably get the navara if you're looking for reliability. Although reliability is also subjective because it mostly depends on the owner's maintenance. Our family (including uncles) have both previous and current ford rangers & everests and for us its reliable.
Take note that the navara is about to get a new gen in a few years to come. You may want to wait for it if you can.
If you can take care of your car, ranger would be a great option. Its bigger in all aspects and looks better. Leg rooms at the back is good. Ride quality is comparable to the navara may be better due to EPS.
Its still up to you what brand to get. As long as it makes you happy and you're satisfied. Dont let others dictate what you buy

What do you mean? The everest trend and the ranger sport have very similar looking dashboards but i assure you, this is definitely the Ranger XLT. The trend appears nowhere in this video
