I wish cars in the Philippines will have optional extras rather than variants forcing you to pay premium. It sucks when you want to have 4wd but it is only available in the very basic trim or the top of the line.
The Ranger XL is the better variant of This Ford new truck. its 4WD advantage and 1.2M price tag you can never go wrong with the XL. In the long run 4x4 has better value and high resale value though it's available for MANUAL TRANSMISSION only.
in mid variant Navara VE is still the King with 187hp (7speed AT with manual mode) while XLT only got 167hp (6speed AT No manual mode) ... also VE is cheaper than XLT
XLT has better ride quality even tho it has leaf springs. I actually prefer it compare to the navarra. It has better space especially legroom. It has better Interior quality than the Outdated navarra. Engine wise Navarra probably got the most HP and Torque but the ranger is more refined and more quiet. And has better NVH

Could be. Based on visual inspection, it looked like a Macpherson. I had no spec briefing like the mainstream mediabhence I had to rely on visual checks on site.

It doesnt, it has wishbones up front and you can clearly tell just by looking, same with most compact trucks like the hi lux, people who modify these know this too well, after market UCAs are popular when lifting these and you can only do that with wishbones
