I followed your advice, subscribed to SimpleNursing and I passed in just 75 Qs. I was done in just 1 hour! I watched all the MedSurg and Pharmacology videos and used the study guides. Thank you Nurse Mike!
I took my nursing boards (N-CLEX) in 1971. Don't laugh, I'm working on my doctorate in nursing education after 40 yrs. as a critical care nurse. I'm getting ready to go back to work somewhere (besides bedside). You all have got really impressive videos. I'm certainly going to recommend you to my students! Keep up the good work!
I did the not so smart thing and waited 3 years to take the NCLEX. I scheduled my test date 6mos out. Before this I tried Kaplan which wasn’t for me. Then I felt as if I was out of options that I’d never pass. Then I found simple nursing! It was a life changer! I followed his study plan almost to a T! Not only did I pass on the first try but, I passed with flying colors!! Thank you simple nursing! I couldn’t have done this without you.

I suggest you become a Director of Nursing for a school somewhere because you're really good at breaking things down man, thank you. Did not know about the do questions first then study after, i would do 10 then study after then another 10 but took a while, will do this method thank you!
i failed my nclex 2 weeks ago and was just completely devastated and watched all my nursing friends pass. i'm going to take it again early august and started studying yesterday. i'm going to try to follow your steps and hopefully i will pass the next one. though i can't help but to feel a little down still since i had to give up my job offer. it's definitely a battle but i'm trying my best
Your videos are amazing and make nursing super simple to learn! I wouldn't have gotten through nursing school without them. I just passed the NCLEX first try and am officially a Registered Nurse 👩⚕️ thank you so much!!

I surely hope I can pass this second time. I’m already an LPN and have been out of RN school for TWO YEARS now. 😭 I HAVE to pass this test soon. I have Uworld but I also have 4 kids under 10 so finding time is definitely a tough task. Hopefully this helps me. Thank you so much!
@@stivemichel8021 c Congratulations, I'm contemplating switching my test date to have 2 months to prep instead of one month. What's your thoughts on this?
You walked me through my LPN. Just signed up again so I would have you with me through me RN bridge. Thanks for using your gifts for the greater good!!
Although this was posted 4 years ago, I believe it is still A-1 advice. You brought to the surface the issues I have been dealing with these last 3 months since finishing PN nursing classes. Now, I believe I can move on in a positive direction and take the boards in the timeline you have suggested - 6-8 weeks! Thank you, Nurse Mike. P.s. I am going to listen to Part 2 now as well, and sign up for SN next pay day!!! P.p.s. Where is part 2? I can't find it. :(
Hi there! Unfortunately part 2 is no longer live on our channel as we only post 20% of our video content, but I'm so happy to hear you'll be joining the SN family very soon! When you sign up for our membership, be sure to watch the first video of Nurse Mike's Lecture Series to start your studies. That will cover our full NCLEX Study Plan ❤️
thank you so much i am preparing since 4 months with work and family commitments and i want to take time studying and making nclex more like a daily routine.. your video is really helpful thanks for the effort.. will share you the good news when i pass the nclex.. sincerely yours
This video is gold!! not just for NCLEX, but also for test taking strategies & practice throughout school. I know I always get overwhelmed by review books and questions, and definitely needed a guide to schedule my practice schedules. This is everything I've ever wanted in a video. Thank you and I hope you get a million views on this video.

😭❤️ I’m so glad I found this video. Definitely planning to take the nclex in 2 months, but it all depends how comfortable I’ll be. I will be following the plan. Yes!!!! In terms of studying I find it a lot to be somewhere else where I’m not at home. I procrastinated a lot. So, now I go to work with my husband. While he goes to work I’m in the car with my baby. He’s in the marine corps so we just go to a different base for his work. I honestly do not know why noises don’t bother me, but it has worked out for me to study somewhere else!! 🤣
Very good pointers! I was so glad to find this channel, you guys really pulled me through MedSurg.. Thank you so much ❤️ Definitely getting a subscription for next semester & beyond & my study buddies & I are renting an airbnb after graduation for a few weeks & doing your NCLEX Prep along with UWorld. Again, on behalf of every nursing student, you all are appreciated 🙏🏾
i feel so bad i want to take your program im international nurse i failed many time but i paid already to uworld i wish i see ur program before love how you speak and teach clear and friendly make everything "so simple" and visible and remember im struggling with all high vocabulary any way thank you so much you amazing
I failed the first time in July and now I have been doing more Uworld questions and I’m scoring higher than the first time but I’m still really nervous!!! This helped me form a little more structure in my studying day, thank you so much!!

Hello Nurse Mike! What about study plan for nursing graduate of 14 yrs and didnt practice, and now because of life have a plan of taking the nclex first time. How should I study while working full time? I work monday to friday 12noon-9pm. I only have A.M study time before I head to work. I feel too tired to study at night when I get home from work. I take some practice test 50 questions once a week and I will get about 20-30% right answers. I forget so many things already but I feel like I still know my priority and safety of patients. my weakness is soo many like- Pharmacology, Med-surge, Mental Health, Maternity and so on. I wanted to get your 60 days subscriptions, Uworld and Archer subscription plus my Saunders comprehensive review book. I have about 5-6 study material and I feel like I have too many study materials. Thank you so much!! ❤
Hi, Mike thanks for the wonderful plan. I am a senior nurse from middle east, planning to write Nclex.. but don't know .. how to grab the things in mind. Need your support. Thanks

I’m being motivated by your great discussion about the “NCLEX Study Plan for Nursing students without time”. I hope that I will join your learning and study plan in the near future.
Barely passed my 1st semester in Nursing, which is why I'm watching How-To answer NCLEX question videos. It's my biggest drawback since all of my classes tests are NCLEX question format. It seems that no matter how much I study when I start testing I don't make much improvement taking it. I have SimpleNursing, so I'm planning to review everything and test. I'll try your recommendation Mike. Thanks again!
Thank you for teaching of yours this is very helpful for me to take nclex exam. Keep it up for more strategies and techniques for your teachings. May Godbless you all.
Can you do me a huge favor & rate my app? It would help me out a lot apps.apple.com/us/app/simplenursing/id1491093181 Also here too! It will only take 5 minutes 😊 www.trustpilot.com/review/simplenursing.com
I’ve been doing 60-100 questions consistently for about 6 days, but with no study plan. I have 3 weeks until my test. I can push it back, but was hoping to give myself a bumper between current NCLEX and Next Gen incase I have to take it again. Can 4 weeks study time be enough (now 3 weeks?) should I see what % I’m averaging on Q’s and if not making 70% push it back? So nervous I’ll end up having to take Next Gen.
Hello Sir! I failed nclex last year and was so devastated. I attended lectures and used uworld but failed. I really want to become a USRN, Im planning to take nclex again. I’m interested to avail your program. Please help me sir... Thank you...
Hello Mike and the rest of the team! I just wanted to say thank you for helping me pass my NCLEX. I took it late last year and bec of your vids and the app, I was able to be confident and prepared in answering the questions. Albeit, I was terrified as hell but the videos helped tremendously! Again, thank you!!

You don't need the full medical knowledge like a doctor. You just need enough to pass the exam. Read the questions properly and answer. Practice questions repeatedly and memorise.
I needed this😭my license expired a few years ago and I'm trying to get it back n I think I only have to pass nclex again sooo studying I am everyday even a bit

the only thing I would add is to add the technique on your card to answer that type of question or perhaps make a list of techniques to answer certain questions on a separate card. E.g. therapeutic communication etc.

Hi Mike!, I just graduated and taking the NCLEX in July! I was wondering, so when I am studying my specific top 3 weakest topics, do you recommend just using that question bank? For example, I am very weak in pharmacology so I take the 60 questions in the pharmacology subject question bank and then review the content area? I have been just choosing all subject areas when creating my practice tests, but I am unsure if I am using these question banks correctly.. Thank you for all you do! Your videos and study guides saved me in Nursing school :)

Hi Mike , I appreciate your help with all these great videos. How about the difficult level of the questions? I was told that it doesn’t matter the percentage of right questions but get at least 50% of the analysis and application ones right.
Yeah, I would like to know too. Do we need to score 4 Above and 4 Near, or 4 Above and 4 Below. Basically do we need to have a majority of the categories ie 4/8 Above to pass?
How long should you stay on a specific topic (like maternity ...4-5days?) Also is that one sheet suppose to fit All missed content(from each subject/topic) or 1 sheet per missed subject/topic?
I'm a 20 year RN who recently moved from Canada to USA, I graduated in 2001 prior to NCLEX. I have worked in med/surg/NICU and care coordination roles, I'm in a bit of a panic about writing my NCLEX in order to work in the USA as I have been out of school for 20 years. Would you recommend the same techniques/program for someone in my situation? I feel like there are so many programs/options/question banks it's a bit overwhelming to choose the "right one", a lot of people mention uworld-would it be beneficial to do multiple programs? I appreciate any advice you have to offer. Thanks for your time.

Thanks, Mike for pointing me in the right direction of studying. God bless and more powers.

I have worked in med/surg/NICU and care coordination roles, I'm in a bit of a panic about writing my NCLEX in order to work in the USA as I have been out of school for 20 years. Would you recommend the same techniques/program for someone in my situation? Hey just wondering Im interested to take the lpn program. If I pre-study the NCLEX like 8 months before I begin the program should school be a breeze? Or are the clinicals the hardest part, or is the NCLEX the hardest?
