I did this 40 years ago , I am a woman who was also travelling alone. Women can travel, learn languages and have great cultural experiences if you put your heart and mind into it.
This is such a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing video! Loretta, thank you so much for showing beautiful rural Japan. Wish to see many more similar videos.
I wish Onsens and hot springs were a thing here. Those places are so beautiful! And it's got to be so good for you to just be outdoors and riding bikes and then relaxing in an Onsen.
Hi Loretta! Just submitted captions for this video :) I was really disappointed to hear about RUclips getting rid of community contributions, but until they're gone for good, I'll be continuing to help out when I can ^^ hope you're having a great day!
Wow, I didn't realize they are doing this. Do you know anything about Amara? Apparently YT will offer content creators a 6month subscription for free. Can we still use to it support Loretta?
Ah, no more community contributions?! Like, when we donate for you specifically? No more closed captioning for deaf community? Will someone please explain?
Such a beautiful video. Beauty touches on everything on this video. Thank You for filming and sharing. This is why I always said my first visit to Japan is going to be for a few weeks.. there's so much I want to see, and I want to see the whole country. Thank You for filming and showing. You have a new subscriber in me.
Loretta-samasama!! Yet another great video!! Wow, the scenery looks so peaceful and inviting!! I would love to go and visit!! Looking forward to your future content!!
Looks great. My wife and I stayed at Yamashiro Onsen last year. We failed to do our research a bit though and when looking around the area, we found that everywhere was closed. It was pouring down with rain too. Luckly the hotel we were staying at (Rurikoh) were kind enough to lend us some umbrellas to look around with, even after we'd checked out.
thanks again for sharing. I wanted more local inland trip ideas so this was a perfect video at the right time. I'm going to a few local shimoda beaches this week but i will now add Okuhida to my list :)
Hi Kemushi Chan. Your vlog editing is superb especially you filmed this alone. Hope to see more of your vlogs visiting more countryside in Japan. You offered us a lot of traveling ideas omg!!
Nice music & landscape combination. Okuhida Onsengo, what a place! Love it! Listen to your talking and watching your steps is always a very comfortable 'remote' experience. Thank you KemushiChan. Saludos desde Mexico
I’ve been watching your channel for a little over a year and it’s amazing to watch your editing evolve- your channel looks like a documentary on Netflix! :o すごい
My auntie lives in HIDA. I’ve been there also, I really love the atmosphere there. How I wish I could stay there 💔 if you will be going to HIDA. My auntie’s husband has a restaurant “YAMAKOSHIROU” you can go there best food👌
Two videos I have watched from you and I am entirely in love. I visited Kobe Motomachi in Sept 2019 for some work stuff, it was my first time in Japan which was my dream, and as much as I loved it, THIS and the Takayama video were what I wanted. Thanks for these visuals and I love the way you make them appear even more magical.
This is my new favorite RUclipsr!!!! I learn so much about Japan. I was supposedly going to visit Japan this month, but unfortunately the COVID-19 happened. I love how you just asks people “btw do you speak English” HAHAHA, it makes me smile every time. You should totally ask everyone you meet with the same words “ちなみに、英語できますか”
Loretta being super relatable: "...we did a lot of sporty things today..." as she rode an electric bike🤣🤣🤣💜 BTW I'm starting to notice that you're becoming one of my fave JP vloggers. I really appreciate how you interact with locals when you do. Its very non foreigner or touristy. Like you joke with them and have natural convos. #goals
What a beautiful place, thanks for filming and sharing your experience with us, Loretta. That cycling scene does remind me of Your Name/Kimi No Na Wa, and yes, the previous video was awesome too!
Muajin I’m moving from the US so it may be a bit longer for me 😅 I’m hoping they start allowing residents of states with lower amounts of cases in, as I live in a more rural state with a much lower case load than say California or New York. They’ve started talks with Hawaii lately, so that’s promising!
I love how you compared your skin to tororo in the foot bath. haha! Thanks always for sharing your adventures. It hasn't been a year yet, and I'm already nostalgic of my onsen experiences in Tohoku last fall. 😭 Must go back to actually have an onsen tamago next time!
WOW this LANDSCAPE! Putting this on my Japan bucket list for sure, hope to make it up there before I leave Japan...thanks, covid :( I was unable to make it up to the mountains when I went to Takayama in January
Do you hold your breath when going through tunnels to make a wish come true? This place looks awesome. If I have the time when I visit I'll definitely check it out. Nothing like rejuvenating yourself after going on hikes through beautiful countryside.
lol I think that's a child's helmet! WAAY too small for you! That hot spring looks about as close to paradise as you can get. Absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for letting us tag along :)
WOW! Another stunning video that made me feel both inspired and envious of your experience. When you speak Japanese as well as you do, you really do unlock magic secret content in life :D, listening to you laughing and chatting with the tour guide whilst driving was such fun. To think that I stayed so close to Oku Hida, blissfully ignorant that such a glorious location was right around the corner. I think a car or bike hire is essential in some areas-- thank you for teaching me this by simply showing me the evidence, ha! Your videos just get better and better. :)
I've only just found your videos. So good to see something different. Really well presented in such a joyful way and by a beautiful lady Loretta. What is the name of the car you use?
Your videos are so beautiful! I was in Japan in February but managed to get home before everything kicked off. I miss it so much though and your videos are a nice reminder of everything :)
Hi KemushiChan! I started watching your Takayama video when I had my breakfast. Now, I am done but can't stop watching your other videos. Hahaha! That is how your amazing videos are. I am so thankful that you shared a lot well. Now I know where to visit Japan next!
I love it when I stumble upon a new channel that I would have been subscribed to from the beginning, if I knew about it. Binge watch incoming! :) Lovely style and format, and such a natural and endearing personality. Also, managing to pull off overt orange dungarees and look great... that's a subscribe right there! :D
hey idk why i can recognize u but ur video happened to come up on youtube. maybe i saw u somewhere in NY bc i had lived in NYC since 2000 till 2019. well its good to see u living in japan bc u obviously enjoying it here. keep up, ill subscribe ur channel.
Hi! Im Brazilian living in Spain. My biggest dream is to live in Japan for a while and have that experience myself. I just want to thank you for the nice work you’ve been doing you inspired me a lot. Keep the nice work ! ❤️
To see another black girl speaking Japanese inspired me so much! I'm going to work hard and live there one day ♡♡ Love your videos Loretta!
I hope you excel and go beyond anything I could ever! You got this ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, guys ♡
DO IT! Japan is SO amazing!
She inspired me to try again after I had given up all hope. I'm so thankful for her!
That seems so relaxing
I MISS NATURE AHHH
MORE GREEN PLEASE
I miss eating eggs
MOAR SPINACH PLS!
Great scenery!
Volcanic areas like Okuhida are always so beautiful. Hot springs and cold water falls, flowing into streams, and lakes, taming the newly created land.
You know why I like this video. 😌
Wow!! you are showing us a different Japan, One most Beauty!! More Natural. No big Cities I love it!!
Thirty years ago I lived in Beppu-shi. Watching you at the onsen made me feel so nostalgic...and envious!
I spent a few days in Beppu last year during the rugby world cup. It's such a great place I wanted to stay there longer.
Hi Loretta! Just submitted captions for this video :) I was really disappointed to hear about RUclips getting rid of community contributions, but until they're gone for good, I'll be continuing to help out when I can ^^ hope you're having a great day!
You are such an absolute sweetheart.

Love your videos! You have such a way of editing and your choice of music is always so good!

Wow this place is so picturesque! Now I see where Miyazaki gets his inspiration 😭

日本に行きたいです. thank you Loretta Kamushichan for all you do. I love your videos.
love that you really emphasize how beautiful japan is. i'm very upset right now that i cant visit for the foreseeable future :/
Just putting this to my travel list for when I go to Japan in the future hehe

Such a relaxing waterfall take 😌 Awesome videos as always!
Thank you, very much. Another beautiful program. You must put a lot of time and effort into making these.

I drove one of those in Bora Bora and loved it. I told my wife I wanted to get one when we move back to Japan.
I love the tour guide's style! Those sleeves! and your nail color. ちょ可愛い
Added this to my list of places to visit - I’m moving to Tokyo as soon as the entry ban is lifted on Americans and I can’t wait to travel 🤗
Me too, except coming from China. *I lived there for 7yrs..now I want to come back*
Muajin I’ve heard that Japan and China have been in talks to lift the ban. I hope we both can move soon!
@@Lifeisnow1234 This is true, recently they started talks. :D I read it on several sites. It's very good news. Where are you moving from?
