omg! a few months ago i stayed at shibamata when i had to quarantine in tokyo for 2 weeks after i returned from my country to continue my study in japan. this is soooo nostalgic
Oh! This video reminded me I have to get my cello RE-fixed! I watched the video with your parents (SO CUTE!!!) and saw you play piano and flute! I played flute for just a short time but I am a classically trained pianist (professional level) and I started at the age of 3 after my parents got a small piano and I literally sightread through the first level book. The only other instrument I was able just to sit down and play was the cello! But I would love to hear you play or hear about how long you have played and in what capacity, etc.! 音楽は最高! P.S. That cello / those cellos ... I would be willing to bet are incredibly expensive (judging by the quality of their tone more than the players' virtuosity!)! P.P.S. The BEST senbei I have ever had are these very large round crackers with soy sauce, sesame seeds, AND seaweed! OHHHHHH SOOOOOO GOOOD!!!

never heard of this place before! the retro candy store was my favorite part :) definitely wanna add this stop on my future japan trip~
I can't ever go there, I'd spend ALL of my money on the local food! Looks so Goooood!
Yooo... It's so weird to see this place again : D I was living here for one month in my "brother" house Shibamata feel really really different than other place in Tokyo ( the indian curry is so good also !!! ).
You two look so beautiful in the yukata!
4:38 These carvings are so beautiful I didn't even realize what I was looking at at first. It took me 15 seconds to realize they were wood carvings.
13:46 Him saying that his grandfather opened that shop in '27 really hit me hard. There's too much to say about that. Hahaha ^^;
Really nice video... So interesting!
KemushiChan I love your channel! I'm living IN Japan now but before I came here about 3 years ago I would watch your channel when I was dating a my first Japanese ex boyfriend and I wanted to learn Japanese so I stumbled upon your channel for learning haha! Anyways....fast forward 3 years later to now I found your channel again! yay
Of course your Japanese Is totally like Native level!
I love how you used the european hymne :D great video ^^
This is the kind of thing I'd love to do in Japan when I eventually visit. I'd love to go to the smaller towns and wander around, trying delicious foods and chatting with nice people. Just enjoying the sweet calmness of it all.
omg! a few months ago i stayed at shibamata when i had to quarantine in tokyo for 2 weeks after i returned from my country to continue my study in japan. this is soooo nostalgic
Music FAM. wow!! Next time I'll have to have you provide the solo!!!!! 👀👀👀
