- In the Morgan Mackenzie household, loads of stuff comes in… but nothing ever goes out. Self-confessed packrats with a serious penchant for shopping, the family’s majestic heritage house has become a bulging storage container for junk of all kinds… And now that two of her grown kids are preparing to move out, Mom is afraid of getting stuck with the mess. That’s where domestic diplomats - Kim Woodburn and Mike Chalut - come in. They vow to purge the family’s home of clutter, teach the Morgan Mackenzies how to organize their lives, and get them to exercise restraint in their shopping habits… But can they set this family straight?

The youngest son is a really awesome person. He has character and very open to new ideas. He will be very successful in whatever he decides to do.
He is cute. Plus he has Justin Bieber hair!
"I like being organized" Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! The way Kim laughed was hilarious!
The Royal Albert Old Country Roses tea set Mike and Kim drink from in every episode is to die for!
Absolutely!!!
Don't forget her beautiful emerald ring 💍
Ooo beautiful
The mom never taught her kids how to be organized but she expects them to clean up after themselves when she can’t? Oh man I feel bad for the kids
Actually, this is a really important point - even if the parents were tidy, children would not automatically understand 'clean your room'.
When I was a child, 'clean your room' meant 'get your toys and drawings out of visibility'. So what did I do? Drawings went under the carpet, and toys were shoved wherever they fit in cupboards and drawers. Did that mean my room was clean? No. And what happened when I wanted a specific toy? Everything was taken back out on the floor, until the toy was recovered. Because this is what kids do, when you don't help them organise.
I think I taught myself this around 11 years old. At that age, you tend to have a shift in your interests, and many have sort of a 'purge' to get rid of old toys, and make the room look more 'mature'. We tend to expect kids to know these things automatically, but they don't. It needs to be taught. And there are plenty of easy ways to do this.
I love that Kim steps in as a much needed older female figure everyone should have in their lives
I loved when the two ladies cleaned homes....Just loved it !!!!
The show "How Clean Is Your House"?
I'm glad my mum disciplined me and my siblings when we were younger . Lord have mercy this is just nasty , what makes this worse is they are self aware so there's no real excuse .
Once the two older kids move out, that is going to be a big house for two people. Hopefully, it doesn't fill back up with stuff.
What a good idea to let the one team pick what’s junk for the other team
The only thing that flows out of that house, is money.
Welcome to my room? Don't be ridiculous!! Hahahaha
I think the problem with these families is that they have a lot of space and in the west people are more exposed to a culture of consumerism, buying is very easy and encouraged.
They all seem quite subdued and melancholy. It’s as if they experienced a recent and significant loss. I do wish them well.
Hoarding is psychological and usually to do with loss of fear of loss or to fill a void...can also be learned behaviour.. What a fantastic family and hats off to Mum who wears so many hats x
This show is so funny. Kim & Mile are hilarious!
Gotta love Kim's brooch ^^
They just take the abuse so someone will clean their house lol. Pure laziness
What a melancholy family
Exactly what I was thinking. They all seem so depressed. I kind of want to give them all a hug and loads of vitamins 💕
I hope the cleanliness and neatness will maintain
I think there could be problems with depression with some or all family members. If I was in charge of the show, I'd urge some screenings.
I wonder if Kelly is also in a lot of debt, shopping all the time.
Kim is the best #respect
Dude that is nothing. I've known several ppl who long ago lost sight of their floors.
That house could be amazing!
Dear god people, tie your hair up! 😂
Rachel agree.!!
Also, brushing teeth and washing hair would help. They all look so dirty.
This intro is something else 😆
Charity begins at home...Lady has no business doing “charity work” while her children live in Squalor.
Hardly Squalor...
Clutter, not squalor. That's a nice, sturdy house with value and their mess isn't infested with bugs or vermin.
I have always known I have a clutter problem. My home is NEVER like that.
"I've seen more life in a mortuary" 😅
They're all huge houses. Need to see normal 2 bed semi with no storage cupboards
If its random and hasn't been used in one year it goes, then what's left has to have a home
U can't expect the boys to be happy about selling all their stuff and giving the money to their sister!? Why does she get it all it's not like they aren't Ganna go to college either...
Split stuff equally 3 ways
Beautiful home.
I love that rat brooch on Kim I want
Jeez I didn’t know what to expect but Kim was so rude omg 😂
I see also Internet Addiction Disorder.
i mean compared to the show hoarder this isn't even bad lol
I give myself 3-7 days n after that if I'm still having that item in my heart and mind I'll go buy it .. thus applies to all things
This has helped my impulsive purchasing :)
I do that too! But I still feel crazy on day 7 when I jump in my car specifically to go get that thing I can’t stop thinking about. Lol 😵💫
I love that rat brooch on Kim I want 1
its a mouse!
The boys would look 100% better if they had decent hair cuts.
The length of a boy or man's hair has absolutely nothing to do with their character, integrity, honesty, respect, kindness, compassion, or contributions to society and others. Judging others by the length of their hair, however, speaks volumes of the character of those who do so.
I bet they dont bath either. This type of living goes hand in hand with lack of personal hygiene aswell. They look unclean. Mums is a slob, kids are lazy.
That blonde woman is scarier than the mess tbh....
Kim is LOVELY!
Nah she is awesome
Are neko I love Kim. She is a big Teddy bear really. Her bark is worse than her bite.
Love Kim so much!!
Kim is a classic battle ax!
Cool kids 😎.
Mike needs a cattle prod as does Kim
I don't believe people should be rude to other people when talking about there stuff. People can accomplish a lot by being kind and considerate . There is no excuse for rudeness.
Completely agree. This is a nice family and they are being humiliated. Let Kim have a go at being an audiologist or first year university work. They know their house is a big mess and they all feel terrible about it. They are lovely kids, well-mannered and respectful.
I love Kim. She tells it like it is
@@harrietgate they are all lazy.
...but...did you read the title of the show?! 😐🤦♀️
My parents would call it "tough love". Some people need it.
Hmm kinda looks like my room... I need to learn DANSHARI
A guy just ate lit cigarettes in a video
Weird!?
Did they say this family has lived there for forty years? How is that possible?
FOUR years....but that was back in 2007. The show's been off the air for 11 years now, and was only on from 2007 - 2009.
I'll take the boots 👢.
*film shows kid holding guitar om couch*
*outburst over broken guitar*
"No emotional attachment"
Really?
Why do they repeat the same clips twice? Not enough content? Cheap production.
It was on the air for only two years, 2007 thru 2009, and yes, it was cheaply made. I believe this particular episode is from '07, maybe '08.
Hi
What's up
The bottom line d-i-v-o-r-c-e.
excuse me? majestic? looks too modern to be considered majestic. I'm sorry but alot of modern building designs look like dumps to me. This one's not too bad but I certainly wouldn't call it majestic
Well, I'm glad you cleared that up. I can sleep tonight.
@@FigaroHey Wow, anybody else saying this:getting a tonne of people agreeing
me saying it : gets snarky sarcastic replies back
Yea, I'd use the term majestic for a castle or an old, stately building...not a standard home. 🤔 I'm agreeing with you!
@@absolutelyridiculous6743 wow thanks so much. i agree with you too
