Sirui Sniper f1.2 Prime Lenses, A new Trinity for APS-C camera? - RED35 Review

- Sirui is hot in 2023, but this is by far the biggest, in my opinion so far, because they are launching their first AF photography lenses for APS-C cameras. I have tested the entire set of three f1.2 Prime lenses on my Nikon Z-fc, are they good enough to rival others? #photography #nikonzfc #sirui

Subscribed, thanks for the video, I love Nikon :)
Love the Video.. Better then a lot of video's by others trying to compare this to 2000€ perfect lenses. and just Reviewing Pre-Production units.
Very nice! Tempting to get that kind of setup.
Yes, it's pretty sweet, considering the price. you get the set for less than 1k.
👍🏻👏🏻Can’t imagine these 3 lens don’t show any focus breathing. Should be good lens for making Video with Z8 too. Hope Sirus will make similar product for Full Frame Z mount!📸️
Beautiful lenses.
I think I'll hold off for a full frame option, and probably the mark II.
Hey Jimmy, what is the orange backpack? I see it in a lot of your videos and it looks great for hiking with camera stuff. Thanks!
It's the Shimoda Action X2
@@Red35Photography Cool, thanks!
I think Im gonna buy all three for my Z50, a silver white and black so they are easily distinguishable since they are all the same physical size.
You think they will release this for micro four thirds mount?
May be, because they already make 43 cine manual lenses. I love their nightwalker series and hope to see AF versions for M43 in the future.
Well apsc getting all sweets now ;)
Hope the X-mount versions perform at least as well. As for white lenses, no true sniper would ever use them. Talk about conspicuous in street photography. Almost as bad as sliver. It'll be the black versions for me, purchased in the (discounted) set.
hahah well, if you use these lenses in snow conditions than they will be invisible ahahah
hmmmm..just seems like most of these "budget" fast lenses don't really have good quality until you stop down to F2 or 2.8... which makes me wonder why get them if you can't rely on the fast aperture giving you good results wide open.. Seems to me a better option is to get the Sigma 1.4 trio which has been out for 7(?) years..plenty of nice used ones out there ( Nikon Z only recently available)..and are PROVEN high quality lenses throughout the focal/aperture range.. they are not new ..or cool...nor size matching.. just sharp and fairly rugged and the loss of 1.2 to1.4 is minimal compared to gain in sharpness....
That is right.
Completely different lenses. These are tailored for video where many DPs actually seek everything that people think is wrong about the lenses. The sigmas are still lenses that are clinical with no character, which also makes their chromatic aberration issues a lot worse compared to these ones in my opinion. When a video lens has chromatic aberration and softness, it’s more acceptable. But when a lens is sharp and clinical, but also has a ton of fringing wide open, it just looks like, a much more apparent, optical flaw.
Owned the Sigma 1.4 trio myself.
Unless you are part of NASA, i think white lenses are a really unusual choice. 😅 I 100% would add NASA stickers if I would own those lenses. 😂
I need some NASA stickers now hahah
NASA is in past tense now lol
