    Welcome to my new Series, Whole Home Audio from Start to Finish! I get comments every week from my videos asking questions about whole home audio, so I figured it was time to show IN DETAIL from start to finish.
    The amplifier and Whole Home Audio system I'm using is the Soundavo WS66i Kit. In my opinion, this is the BEST & Easiest whole home audio solution on the market, that your money can buy. For $550 off this system, use code TKMZ at checkout www.soundavo.c...
    Interested in knowing more about it's features? Check out this video • NEW Monoprice Whole Ho...
    This is the Magnepull amzn.to/3ouioBr
    These low voltage brackets that are better than what i'm using amzn.to/31LuU69
    In this video, we are running the first keypad! The first thing you run always takes more time. After this, you will get your rhythm down and start moving along faster. We do amplifier location prep, and get up in the attic and have some fun. We run into a small issue, that took a little longer to work around, but we get through it :)
    LIKE & SUBSCRIBE, thanks for watching and stay tuned for the rest of this video series!

    Pro tip always make a horizontal cut in drywall first, if you hit a stud you can go the other way

    Let me give you a little pro tip, if you cut horizontally first in case you run into a stud, easier to recover.

      Hi. What about the flushness of the plate with the steel bracket ? Better than the orange ? I cannot see very well on the video. I have DAX66's plates with orange brackets and there is quite a big gap :/ Thanks.

    Do you have a video that shows how you mounted the units to the wall in the closet? I am planning to add 3 units in a closet and your installation looks good. I'd like to do something similar rather than just stacking them on top of each on one the closet shelves. The units are big and heavy and will take up a lot of space if mounted horizontally. Mounting vertically to the wall will save a lot of space and looks cleaner. Thanks for the videos!

      ruclips.net/video/UY_w5aNUr_g/видео.html this kind of shows it some. I dont really talk much about them. To be honest they are just 2 2x4's for the top and 2 2x4s for the bottom lol. One 2x4 is flat against the wall, the other is standing on end which is what the rack mount ears on the amp attach to. I mounted the bottom one where I wanted first, and then i was able to prop the amp on it, and then i could mark the top 2x4 and then screw it in. Very easy to remove the amp too if you ever need to in the future! Thanks for watching

      @@TheKMZ1 Thanks for the quick reply. Your videos have been helpful for me as I'm getting started down this path.
      I did freeze the video a few times and thought it was 2x4's screwed to the wall then other 2x4's screwed to the first ones, allowing for airflow between wall and Amp which is a good idea. The big benefit to doing it your way is both front and back are easily visible and it takes up less shelf space. Great idea. Thanks!

    The negative is that you seem to have textured ceilings all through out the house. A lot harder to patch than if it was just normal drywall.

    • @TheKMZ1
      @TheKMZ1  3 года назад

      Yeah exactly. Most houses that I know of always get some kind of texture on them when built. My parents even built 3 years ago has textured ceilings (not a popcorn flakey type, but a low profile drywall type texture) Hopefully I wont need a drywaller in my area ;) but I guess we will find out as I start with the speakers!

    What wire is the blue wire ? And how did you connect them to the keypad which I didn’t see in the video ?

    • @TheKMZ1
      @TheKMZ1  2 года назад +1

      The blue wire is Ethernet cable. It connects to the keypad with an RJ45 end on the cable.

      @@TheKMZ1 that other end goes to the AMP?

    • @TheKMZ1
      @TheKMZ1  2 года назад

      The other end goes to a keypad hub, and then 1 ethernet cable from the keypad hub to the amp, yes

    Can you run 4 speakers off one zone if you run them in parallel?

    Can you connect more then 6 zones

    • @TheKMZ1
      @TheKMZ1  2 года назад +1

      Yes, you add another amplifier as slave #1 and you can have 12 zones sharing the 6 sources. You can add a slave #2 amplifier and it will let you have 18 zones sharing the 6 sources. The amplifier only allows expanding up to 2 more amps. So after you have a master amp, and 2 slaves you can't add anymore. The 3 amplifiers connect together with included ribbon cables
