    I agree. The benefit of holding myself to the commitment to getting purple, which I just got, is that BJJ is now part of my life.
    Having blue or black as a goal carries a higher risk of disaffection.

    I am a bjj blue belt, any tips should I focus on getting purple or. just enjoying blue belt life?

      Just keep training. Best to not think about belts and just enjoy the process.

      @@TheJiuJitsuMindset I struggle with rolling, I am an introvert and find it challenging to roll with people I do not know. how can I overcome this?
