I'm glad to be able to say that I never once viewed Oprah's TV program. There was always something about her that repelled me and I resented the fact that she was being shoved down the throats of the public. I'm happy that I listened to my instincts.
I threw TV out of my household 35 years ago when I saw how it was affecting my children. My mother was right when she declared that TV was not good for children.
