Just a suggestion not a dig at you guys as I do enjoy your content and want to see success but if you are going to choose the option of long range shooting (I’m presuming you guys are putting in the practise and work out of season and can shoot these distances atleast 8/10x) then you going to have to take heavier duty bipods, tripods, rear rest options. long range shooting requires taking much heavier duty protection on there rifle scopes too. Something like the sthealthy hunter crown and scope cover at a minimal. Maybe you already do but cannot see in your videos any of that stuff. Good luck any hope you have more success threw the 2024 season

You guys really need to either practice more at long range shooting or don’t take as long of shots. I thought you guys would’ve learned after last year. I’m not against long range hunting, but please spend some more time practicing or get closer. Congrats on the bear that you did get.
Nice job bro! Crazy that the gun was off. I've used nail polish on the rings and bases for 30+ years, never had a problem.

Congrats on the bear in part 1. Sucks about the gun sight in on the first opportunity. The height issue could possibly be a tweak on the BC of your bullet or the velocity isn't perfect causing inaccurate distance calculations. another thing that effects height at distance in the mountains is shot angle, if your range finder isn't adjusting for shot angle I suggest getting one that does.

Thanks! The rifle I had on that hunt is a Christensen 7mm PRC with a Hawke Optic Scope. I really like the setup but it definitely could be dialed in better. I'm probably going to get a different rifle here soon.

You’re guns not off if one shots 3ft right then 3” high it’s a small bear at 750 yard’s definitely practice more or get closer
