Lol, kind of funny and a little ironic to drink a beer revisiting your favorite childhood TV shows😂 But hey, here's a toast to having a terrific childhood because maybe I do it too!
Ran home from school to catch this program Mon- Fri. Aaah, those were the days. I weep for children television broadcasting now. No Bill Nye, Reading Rainbow, etc :(
@@DrJekyll38 she was also pretty awesome on the district. And that show combined two of my favorite with Lynne Thigpen as well as Craig T Nelson from Coach
Billy Blunder hahaha right! I have no idea how I got here either, I know I started off with listening to 80s and 90s cartoon theme songs like 3 hrs ago lol
This is why RUclips is awesome. I've held this performance solely in my memory 20 years or so, only seeing/hearing it once. I've looked for it several times, always eventually giving up. Weary, but willing to "give it another try" yet again, I gamely clicked again a few days ago when a Carmen SanDiego episode appeared in my suggested vids. Imagine my utter bliss when I finally heard the sweet sounds of the "Brandy" cover I'd been searching for all these years! 4:18
Hi Mike Ross 😯 “Oh really this exact same show on RUclips is now on Netflix do ya have to pay 💰 for it or is free please message me sometime soon thanks bye
Hi (Spike Riley) Yeah I don’t blame for saying the company of this show they really should have thought and decided to put this show on DVD if they knew it was going off the air. I use to watch this show now that I found it on RUclips I saved to my message 📱💬📱 so I can watched it when I can even tho I watch same episode “ha” 👱🏻♀️👍🏻📺😃
Oh how time flies! my brothers and I would have done anything to be on this show. we had fun watching this show as if we were contestants ourselves. viva la PBS

Hi DLarryable I also Kinda sort of remember when this show came on in the 90’s I really gonna miss the 90’s but yeah I wouldn’t say this show was my favorite but when I use to watch this show I thought it was kinda educational but yeah I also thought this was a really great cool show.
@@sarahdelong3739Hi, yes it was a really fun and educational show. Really just a show of innocence, education and fun. The a-cappella song is timeless! I can’t believe I wrote my original comment seven years ago and now I’m back reminiscing and went back to this video again!.
Adam Block That's what made the shows and cartoons and stuff from back then so amazing. you could tell that the people who created and worked on the shows actually cared about children learning. and as kids/teens we knew we were learning but these type of shows made you want to. Now days it's about posting stupid stuff on the internet, emulating a family of skanks that(as far as I can tell)are famous for laying on their backs, and paying for these generic build a body kits that makes their bodies look gross which all the IG "models", reality showstars, and female rappers have. I'm not sure why cause they end up being shaped like centaurs and ants.
I used to LOVE this show! The computer game too. I live in Minnesota now... and the Mall of America is not "on Lake Superior", that made me laugh. It's like 2 and a half hours from it actually. But this is amazing! 90s nostalgia big time.
YES! An episode where the finalist won :) It is so heart-breaking/stressful when the kids either come so close (5-7 correct) or when they're not even close.
Thank you for not saying who won. There are some people out there who call them by name and ruin the surprise. Thanks for not being one of those people. It is truly appreciated.
we wonder what is going on with children's education these days....They are missing out on the good children's programs we grew up on WITWICS, Reading Rainbow, Bill Nye the science guy, school house rock. Those were the good old days.
STEVEN CRUSHED IT. I watched this show every day after school. Like 8 people ever won the final round. He got every question correct and was still gassed at the end. Barely made it. Not nearly enough time given.
damn those underwear volcanoes! oh how very much i miss this show and ROCKAPELLA ... like the rockapella HERE - i don't know if 5 voices ever joined so well before; that's ESPECIALLY true for scott and sean (and elliott) - dear god it's like their voices were made to sing together. and the same can be said for jeff and barry who are both just amazing and bloody brilliant (seriously, if you're a music fan, i highly suggest you just close your eyes and try to pick out who sings what in some of these songs and who covers for who when the other is singing, etc. pure genius). i really don't know if there were happier times growing up than when we were but we did have it good ... we were and are very lucky, that's for sure.
This, Wishbone and Captain Planet were my shows. Can we talk about how AMAZING PBS was in the 90s? We had WITWICS, Ghostwriter, Wishbone...loved these shows.
So did I! Ghostwriter was a favorite as well. Thank you PBS! What's the story wishbone lol. Pbs is great. Miss the 90's
