Thanks for the memories. I used to love watching this show every day after school when I was a child. The Rockerpella guys were off the chain, love them. I miss PBS shows like this, for real. Have a nice day!
I love how, right or wrong, they all keep magically getting the same answers. They all managed to guess Louisville, which even I wouldn't have known, and yet none of them were able to recognize the St. Louis arch. LOL
There will never be anyone as good an ACME chief as Lynne Thigpen was, in my opinion. I saw her in several films and shows, too - from “The Cosby Show” to “Bicentennial Man.”
This is one of the game shows that helped solidify my fandom of TV game shows. If anyone in Hollywood is reading this comment, please help me get into a hosting role!
RIP chief :( miss the good ole 90s.. It'll never be the same as that golden era
The best part of watching Lynne Thigpen talk about the Tony Award with such reverence in 1992 is knowing she herself won it 5 years later.
RIP Lynne

Classic educational TV!
This show played a role in me wanting to be a detective! Thank you!
Did you manage to become one?
@@warnegoodman no, but I like reading detective stories and watching detective shows on tv.
Love the clip of Lynne Thigpen on Broadway. She was so talented in so many ways and is very much missed!
this used to be my show! I used to watch this everytime I get home from elementary school!
Same here
I remember this episode. I was 8 years old. I always wanted to appear on this show, never had a chance.
Wow, this brings back great memories. LOVED this show as a kid and a show staffer got me into the audience for this episode!
This was one of my favorite shows as a kid.
Man this show was great. The very definition of both fun and educational.
We didn't have this show in Australia, but I adored the PC game. I only learned there was a show as an adult.
Lynne Thigpen is an actual Tony Award winner
Good thing Double Trouble or one of Carmen's VILE crooks didn't take hers.
I keep coming back to this vid for Lynne’s Broadway clip. Makes me wish I got to see her in a musical/play while she was still around.
I love this show...back when tv was worth watching!!!
This looked like a fun game show to attend as a contestant or even an audience member.
I remember watching this after school, aww good days
Oh my GOD!!! My 4th grade life just came flowing back to mind when the Holiday Inn and Toyota spots started! Damn I'm old (thankfully)!
I used to watch this everyday after I got home from school
Omg my childhood
I saw her in Godspell! I love her singing voice!
The piece Rockapella did actually entertained me. That was hilarious!
Rockapella was the best part of this show.
Omg I miss this show
My favorite Double Trouble epi. Thanks, who ever recorded it.
Imagine Lynne killing it on Dancing With The Stars and/or The Masked Singer if she was with us today!
missed this show when it went off the air. never saw the computer game but enjoyed this
90's kid!
Yes i miss the 90 yes i do.
Our childhood 41 now man time flies
As a complete Shakespeare nerd, I enjoyed that Rockapella clue a little too much. :D (I love the surfboard: "Once more, unto the breach Dude!")
I love how, right or wrong, they all keep magically getting the same answers. They all managed to guess Louisville, which even I wouldn't have known, and yet none of them were able to recognize the St. Louis arch. LOL
I didn't know the lightning round; that was it.
Best tv show of the 90ties!!!!!
Omgggg who remembers this show
Lynne Thigpen was an amazing actress

Now this is my kind of episode!!! BROADWAY BABY!!
I remember this episode.
That penny collection could have paid for his college tuition. That's cool.
She was! My Grandma saw her in Godspell!!
As great as that clip was, and although I watched this show as a kid, my favorite thing that Lynne Thigpen was in was Godspell.
Her first role I think…
Maury, before he was doing paternity testing drama.
mcog 2006
And polygraph drama.
If that penny was really worth $20k, imagine what it's worth now.
I want one of those tshirts
No way! Gimme that jacket!
My pleasure, Aubrey!
Who are the actresses in the shots of Double Trouble stealing the Tonys? The first one likes Angela Lansbury, not sure of the other one.
Omg I never realized Maury was on this!!
That reminds me, didn't Lynne Thigpen win a tony herself after the show ended?
She did, for An American Daughter!
I do too.
Imagine young James Holzhauer competing in this show...I'm sure he'd ace any case
Y’all are wrong for cutting it off before the song
Funny Double Trouble ended up where they stole Red Square in 1991.
***** Karma much?
Love the Beach Boys
Not as good as I remember lol. Lol wow, Maury looks hilariously young
It's so period that DoubleTrubble wear AIDS ribbons.
Melissa was way too slow and it’s also Greg’s fault for reading too much
i was born in in91
Kyle should of won, he was a good sport
