God bless you for spreading the word of God. I have seen that with weather events that have happened here. Tornadoes, straight line winds, flooding (minor around here, but still). Ive often thought, why is it that we all come together during a tragedy or emergency, but stay divided the rest of the time? Not everyone, stays divided, but still. I hope and pray we all start standing together with Christ.
At church this morning during Bible study, our pastor was just saying this. So awesome to hear this from two different sources. I'm going through one of the toughest situations of my life and through this I am learning to lean on him more every day.
The off to the ball game, or a family meal. My mom always cooked a good family meal on Sundays. Supper was leftovers and popcorn. My mother inlay was the same. Both Methodists. Good people.
I was listening to someone preaching about the churches to avoid. Not once did he read or say the scriptures after John 1:1 for example. I was so disappointed. After telling him and his followers to take a look and listen to you I got off his site. Just another preacher blah, blah, blah. Love ya. ❤❤❤

We Jews and Gentiles have so much in common in our bibles Old Testament and New Testament. The bible guides us in good and bad times. “The Lord our God is with us wherever you go.” Very powerful!! 😊🇺🇸🇮🇱
The Jews do not read the new testament. They're told not to by their Rabbis. They believe in the law of Moses, which couldn't save any one from death. Only the resurrected Christ can give us eternal life.

Jesus said "Love one another as I have loved you ".... Makes one think that maybe disasters happen to test us and bring out the best or worst in us. That revelation moment when you see yourself clearly and what might need to change and what is still good or growth in a person. He allows tribulations to test and try us like gold or silver in a furnace to separate the dross (scum, crud) from the good stuff. When disaster happens we wake up to the reality that people are what is important, not things. Things pass away, but the soul of a person lives on.
I have heard the actual word of God which saved my life and my 2 sons from a barn wall collapse. I was cutting the grass below a 60' high barn wall when I just had to drive the lawn tractor into the garage to fill the gas tank even though I had filled it earlier. Both my sons came to find out what dad was doing. At that moment the wall fell and we all were safe. The nudging of God saved my families life and this wasn't the first time. I was always a daredevil from cars to motorcycles and I always had that whispering in my ear when I could have lost my life. Praise the lord for keeping me and my family safe.
My suggestion is to relate to the people as well as the scriptures. And perhaps sports and music. Perhaps you could sing a few hymns. Like... the 7th inning stretch song. My relatives would like that one. Then again my family liked hockey.
I've always ask God for guidance. About a year ago, I prayed about a job that I applied for, if it was from Him. A year later the owners now have me running their 2nd location! I later figured out that God put these people in my life because they were willing to invest in me! I'm so grateful and thankful to this day.

The king james in Psalms 34:4 in the King James says Heard me not answered. He did not answer just heard our prayer. There is a differance. to make a new version of the bible they have to start with the King James and make 200 changes. John 16:1 in the KJV says nothing about peace it says that you shall not be offended. Not the same thing.
Gotta question, what are your thoughts on Amish movies? Makes of actual events and or fabricated ones? Or do you watch movies like that? I have an ex back in PA who I no longer speak with but has or still does drive for Amish under the table and has said to me in front of them, joke or not by him, that he wished I lived how they do. Cook clean and take care of his "needs" while he worked and sat on his butt on his phone all day. Which is exactly how it was anyways. Including I did shopping while he made excuses not to come in with me. Who knows if he was then talking to other females in front or on the road with/without me

One of the chief ways God increases my understanding is by a keen awareness of what I do not know.
