Thanks for the video.. i've been having a weird issue for months after my Alternator was replaced where the voltage would fluctuate all the time and couldn't figure it out. Your video made me check out the battery area and i noticed that slightly moving the battery over fixed the problem as the cable was rubbing against a sharp area on the engine and grounding out the positive voltage. I'll definitely want to replace that cable soon (which looks like a pain), but your video finally helped me find the issue. Thanks!

You're welcome! I'm glad the video was helpful in identifying the issue with your vehicle's voltage fluctuations. It sounds like you were able to diagnose the problem and find a temporary solution by adjusting the battery position to prevent the cable from grounding out. Replacing the damaged cable should definitely be on your to-do list to ensure a reliable electrical system in your vehicle. If you need any further assistance or advice on replacing the cable, feel free to ask!

Hi, I have a 2004 g35, my fuse keeps blowing up and can't find a solution. Electrical shortage maybe? Advice because I have been struggling to keep it on without buying new fuses constantly

Hello … My son has a 2003 G35 Infiniti…. The battery keeps dying. He jumps the car but can keep the charge. We hooked it up to the car tester thing… and it says there’s a disconnect with a fuse …..Any advice?

    • @BestCarFixes

It sounds like there might be an electrical issue draining the battery on the 2003 Infiniti G35. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and potentially fix the issue:
Check the battery: Make sure the battery is in good condition and fully charged. If the battery is old or weak, it may need to be replaced.
Check for parasitic draw: With the car off, use a multimeter to check for any electrical components that are drawing power when they shouldn't be. This is known as a parasitic draw and can drain the battery. Common culprits include interior lights, trunk lights, and aftermarket accessories.
Check the alternator: The alternator is responsible for charging the battery while the car is running. If the alternator is not working properly, it may not be charging the battery as it should. Have the alternator tested to make sure it's working correctly.
Check the fuses: If the car tester indicated there's a disconnect with a fuse, check the fuses to see if any are blown or not working properly. Replace any blown fuses and test to see if the issue is resolved.
Check the wiring: If none of the above steps help, there may be an issue with the wiring that's causing the battery to drain. Have a professional mechanic inspect the wiring to find and repair any issues.
      I hope this helps!

You have a short/ Look at vidoes how to test for shorts it's easy to learn . You need a test light and a fuse puller

Holy crap dude has an expensive circus tester and cant grasp the principle that a blown big boy fuse can mean a serious issue running a 16-18ga wire with your hands to bypass a maxi style fuse is the stupidest and funniest thing ive seen in a while.
