This might be even better than a POV for giving you a "feel" of the ride. I also find it really relaxing and exciting to watch at the same time (the "woooshhh!" of the trains and the muffled screams, while the park music plays softly in the background is relaxing, while my memories of riding it, and the feel of specific elements replaying in my memories as I watch them on the screen is exciting).
Went on this ride with my friends this past summer. When we went down that first drop, I basically blacked out for a good 3 seconds. The rest of the ride made me feel like I was constantly falling each time it goes over another hill.
I LOVE this coaster. While I haven’t ridden it since 2019 and Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion is my number one, it’s a beautiful coaster to film and ride. I can’t wait to get back to Carowinds!
I got over 400 rides in this year, living 10 minutes away has its advantages. Up to 1,240 rides all time. I was in the row 7, left seat on the final ride of the night y'all were there when they sent the train twice (Taylor was in row 8 left side). Glad you enjoyed the coaster and the park!
Wow! Absolutely Stunning ride. Your camera work is absolutely brilliant and the quality is excellent. Believe it or not I prefer i305 to fury. i305 just looks so unbearably intense that it looks brilliant! Have you ever not greyed out on 305?
*Home park tips for fury* At the very peak of the lift do this: Arms up, LEGS UP and as you begin to fall GO COMPLETELY RAGDOLL LIMP. You will not feel the train, the seat or the clamshell given that you weren't stapled. You just feel like you jumped out of a plane.
OT: I went to Carowinds as a small child in its first or second year of operation. I kind of liked the quirky individualism of the attractions the founder set up at the time. The park lost something after having been bought by a corporation in my opinion. Not hatin', just sayin'. I'm not much of a coaster fan anyway, but I did like the Goldrusher, because it had a very smooth ride. I also like the way it plunged down toward the water before all the ponds were filled in. While Fury 325 also looks very smooth in operation, my wonky inner ear makes any theme park rides a thing of the past. Ah, youth.
TRUE STORY: A kid named Coaster Nerd Weekly recorded a rollback on Backlot Stunt Coaster at King's Island a few days ago. I've only seen that on TTD types. Anyone else???
It's a real shame the rest of Carowinds isn't really that good. I'm sitting here thinking about an Eastern US coaster road trip and I'm currently only planning a single day here, but two and a half at King's Island and two at G Adv. And I don't think I'll regret it.
@@poolplexer For a park the size it is and for what Cedar Fair says they want to achieve with it that's way too short a list. This is also a park with Hurler, Carolina Cyclone, Nighthawk and Vortex. Oh and a Boomerang.
@@Danrarbc Nighthawk ain't that bad. And if they RMC Hurler and added a GCI, they'd be a top tier park. Yet and I think Cedar fairs gonna invest heavily in Carrowinds Because Charlotte is one of the fastest growing cities in the US
Without a doubt one of the most beautiful roller coasters to look at.

He said one of the best. Not "THE BEST"

My absolute favorite coaster
Feel like this is tied with Hakugei for most beautiful coaster on Earth.
Taylor, just a great job with the cinematography. Love when you supplement your content with these videos.
Love this color scheme
One of my top bucket list coasters, it looks so amazing to film and even better to ride.
I really, REALLY want to ride this. It’s my current #1 bucket list coaster
One thing I noticed about B&M is that they look aesthetically pleasing compared to other coaster manufacturers
I honestly find so much joy on your channel thank you for posting so much and keeping me entertained.! ❤️🙏🏽

Great footage! Fury was my #1... until I rode Velocicoaster last week.

I’m literally watching this video in 480p and it looks like it is 4K
Fantastic footage Taylor
Beautiful work Tyler

Thank you so much! I have not greyed out on i305 once or twice, but it’s very rare
the shot at 1:59 is just *chefs kiss*

ur right, b&m hyper really feels like flying if you sit at back seat for first drop with your hands up and leg stretch
Wow I would love to go on that ride
Awesome!
It's hauling holy crap.
you should make a video of the best looking roller coasters

CAN YOU PLEASE COMPARE CEDAR POINT AND SIX FLAGS GREAT ADVENTURE
LOl. I was just watching when you got cursed off on this ride in 2018

@TheHoffenator7 lift coasters cant. If it does roll back, it wont magically go back up the first drop
@TheHoffenator7 that's true leviathan had almost a roll back because really high winds
I like this better than Steel v.
Taylor are you going to be re-reviewing this coaster
That’s the plan! :)

Intimidator, Afterburn and Copperhead Strike are all strong coasters. Carrowinds is climbing the list of parks

@@poolplexer They already RMC'd Hurler. The one at the smaller park tho.
I assume Matt had a good birthday?
Fury beats any rmc.
was that a coaster idiot i spotted?? :) front or back??
