Been a pretty good last decade in Europe when you think Helix openned in 2014 and that was considered the best coaster in Europe when it openned. What did we have before that Expedition Gforce and shambala that where world class . Since that time we got 3 coasters in europe that can be argued to be the best 3 coasters in the world (i won't but they are defently in my top 10) With Zadra, ride to happiness and Voltron/Hyperia. But we also got Taron, FLY, Hyperion, lech coaster (probable the best mid tier coaster ever build) Sword des Karnan and a couple of reaaly decent mack launchers.
@@clubstep8244 hehe those should defently been on the list i gave. Wildfire is in my top 3 woody's world wide and Untammed is still in my top 10 steel.
Been on 7 of the 17. Voltron was the clear winner for me. 13 rides on it. Incredible coaster. The other 6 I rode had pros and cons. (Iron Menace, all American triple loop, Phoenix rising, penguin trek, snoopy’s, and fire in the hole which was probably the most successful of those 6) Hyperia is in the cards for 2025
This morning my GP brother randomly texted me asking if I’ve ever heard of Voltron and I immediately sent him your review lol! Pretty sure he saw a short Instagram reels video of it and I was like nah you need an actual good quality review. I’m slowly converting him into an enthusiast. We went to Dollywood twice this year and he loved every single coaster (especially Lightning Rod and Wild Eagle). I’m already planning a trip for both of us to go to Carowinds and Kings Dominion in the spring so he can experience some even more intense coasters. Loved this video & Happy New Year to y’all yet again ❤
In 2024 I became an enthusiast. I didn't get to go to many theme parks because of money and stuff, but next year I will be going to Plopsaland De Panne, Phantasialand, Parc Asterix, Europa Park and Disneyland Paris (and possibly Walibi Holland) Maybe Chessington World of Adventures and Thorpe Park. I'm in Ireland so that makes it hard for me to get to many theme parks but this year I did get to Emerald Park, Thorpe Park and Alton Towers, and I am very happy about a good new coaster finally coming to my home park (na Fianna Force) and I think Hyperia and Nemesis Reborn were absolutely SPLENDID and I think the teams at Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Mack Rides and B&M just smashed them both out of the park. If these are both so good I am very excited to do Toutatis, Voltron, Taron, F.L.Y., The Ride to Happiness and more in 2025. Sadly there are no new for 2025 coasters coming to parks near me (I sort of wish Energylandia got the tilt coaster so I could easily experience it, but oh well) but nevertheless I am very excited for 2025 and all the coasters I will ride! Thank you Coaster Studios for helping me get through the not so great times that I had this year! :D
Thats a very nice list for next year foofoo, I'm comming over to England for the first time don't have time to cross over to Eire unfortunatly. Well i have to plan a long weekend to dublin to get to Tayto but it probable won't be this year. And trust me we all know the feeling of not having time and or money. I'm probable be a wee bit older then you are so now i have the money but time is always a problem. As a pro tip do youre research in what anuuale passes give you a good discount on other parks to or in case of americane parks have some nice add ons. And plan your tripps based on the passes you can afford. Now this won't get you to get much but for instance an efteling annuale pass will give you a free day in trippsdrill, moviepark germany, and europapark also one in blackpool plus a lot of discount on other parks. So if you do 2 days of efteling and you can get away with cheapest one (look out lot of blocked days on that one) and you do a european tripp it probable wil safe you some money.
As an Irishman myself Na Fianna Force is so good. Unfortunate to see the Cú Chulainn getting tougher every year though, I really hope Tayto park expands even more in the near future.
Next during the off-season, you guys & Matt should go to Great Wolf Lodge in Concord, North Carolina near Carowinds. A super-duper fun indoor water park/hotel!
Fantastic Ranking! I'd love to see you do more rankings than you already do, things like best coasters in 'enter state or country in europe' or 'best states in the US for roller coasters' or 'best countries in Europe for roller coasters' for example. Mahuka could've been mentioned even if you didn't ride it though.
Had a bit of a down year due to changing jobs and several medical issues, but was still able to get on a few trips this year. Best and only new for 2024 coaster I experienced was Bobcat. Best new to me rides were Wicked Cyclone and Monster.
thats pretty good!! I got to ride three new for 2024 coasters, which are snoopys soap box racers, phoenix rising and penguin trek. both B&M's were shaky and kinda forcelessbut snoopy's surprised me, i loved all the coasters I rode this year. but overall including mental health and other stuff, it was ok

2:38 Horus was the ancient Egyptian god of wind, the sun, the sky, kingship, protection, and basically a bunch of other funky stuff! If I have a big interest other than coasters it's mythology so I had to say something haha Hope you guys had an awesome 2024! I visited Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Paulton's Park and Plopsaland de Panne for the first time this year so I know I did. Lookin forward to see where things go next year :)
It was a great year for me. I visited 10 theme - and waterparks this year (normally I do 3 or 4 in a year). First time riding Voltron, FLY, Red Force, Shambhala. Also reached 100 coaster credits this year.
What a fantastic year from Cisster Studios and his content! I thought this was a very bad year for coasters, especially considering only one major bug roller coaster in the US opened and several closed. Hoping for a better year in 2025!
Hyperia was my favourite ride of the year. My most anticipated trip of 2025 is going to be heading out to Europa Park to ride Voltron. Taylor and Sarah thanks for all your amazing content this year and wishing you all the best for 2025
Yeah i have to agree. Voltron is my new no1 (maybe no 2 cause of RTH, not sure) and Hyperia no2. These two coasters are insane. Would probably switch the ranking if Hyperia would be way longer with 2 more elements. But voltron hit the mark. Its, as you said, a coaster that combines everything you want or searching for on a ride. We NEED more stryker coasters like this one! Thanks for 2024 and the great experiences you shared with us. Haven't done it yet since i was 8 weeks in the states this year doing coasters and that was all me free time i had. Going in the spring though and i expect it be somewhere in my top 10 to, probable somewhere around the 4 to 7 spot.
I think a Vekoma stc like na fianna force would be a cool replacement for anaconda at kings dominion. I haven’t ridden an stc yet but they look really good and it would fit in kds lineup perfectly
Hyperia is very local to me. I've done it 47 times so far. I can't wait to do it again in 2025. The music is great especially on the lift hill - it really gets you in the mood.
Mack with Hyperia and Voltron are really proving themselves, doing better than B&M (I know B&M are having problems with rattliness). Hope to see more of Mack and Coaster Studios in the future! Also nice to see the UK get some great new coasters!
Mack is cooking it up with starfall racers right now, and a New extreme spinning coaster will sit right by Expedition GeForce, they are just getting started
@bulleid_productions as far as i know mack-airtime its pretty strong (Voltron, Ride to Happiness and Helix for example) most of the time, so a multi launched hypercoaster airtime Machine doesnt Sound too Bad for me :D
It is wild to me to see an Irish roller coaster higher on a list than Nemesis. I'm so happy we actually have roller coasters now. Growing up all we had were a few travelling Wild Mouses and Pinfari Zyklons.
I never did the original dragster. It was closed my one and only pre-2022 CP visit in 2019. So imagine my shock when I revisit in 2023, see the magnificent thing being built, and plan a trip there in 2024... ...and it was still closed...
Best highlight of 2024 was a front and back ride on Arie Force One. The biggest letdown was walking past TT2 several times in my late August visit and not being able to ride what looks to be a masterpiece. Hoping 2025, I will be able to get some redemption.
Of these rides, I got to do Snoopy's Soap Box Racers, Iron Menace, and yes, TOP THRILL 2! Snoopy's was a fun, super-smooth family coaster and fits really well into Camp Snoopy. I thought Iron Menace was a lot better than most people said. The roughness did not really bother me and I thought it added to the intensity (most of my rides were in the back left seat) so I was able to enjoy all the great forces it provided! Griffon is still the best American dive coaster but I loved the 95° drop followed by 4 relentless inversions. The real winner was Top Thrill 2! I scored two rides during opening weekend and absolutely loved it. I was a big fan of Top Thrill Dragster, so I was a bit skeptical at first about how it would be better, but those concerns immediately went away! It's a significantly longer ride that feels even more intense than the original. The backwards launch is insane. The spike is insane. The third launch doesn't even feel that different than the OG hydraulic launch because you're at 100+ mph for a much longer period of time! The top hat is absolutely BONKERS now. I'm so excited to (hopefully) get many more rides in 2025 and it's my favorite coaster at Cedar Point (yes, even over Steel Vengeance)! It currently ranks at #7 out of 206 credits. Still incredibly thankful that I was one of the lucky ones. This is why I'm happy to be a Cedar Point local😂
I had another ride on FLY at Phantasialand in Germany but this time I stretched out my arms to actually kind of really fly and it was an amazing experience
My new coasters aren’t new (except for Tron, which opened in 2023, right?), but it was the first time I’d been to Knott’s since I was a little girl. I kept a list…as I might start keeping track of coaster credits at 60 yrs old! 😉 I rode Silver Bullet, Sidewinder, Jaguar, Hang Time, Accelerator and Ghost Rider. Favorite was Ghost Rider. Looking forward most to Epic and, hopefully, first trip to Japan! And maybe Dollywood or Cedar Point. For coaster credits, I can add ones I’ve ridden prior to the decision to count, right? Velocicoaster, Guardians, Everest, Hagrid’s, etc. Glad I got to go on Rip Ride Rocket before it closes. Cheers!
Yup your credit count is about all the coasters you have ever ridden. If you want an easy way to keep track of them and look for fun new things to do i would recomment coaster count. I have a paid subscription but the free version is also pretty good.
With all these family coaster additions, I wonder if this will just be the trend going forward. Where parks will be adding family coasters rather than large thrill coasters. And then the thrill coasters that parks are adding tend to be accessible like a B&M dive machine.
This is the 2nd year in a row I did no parks (by choice) and I'm glad bc after 10 years of enthusiast-ing I was kinda burnt out but now I'm excited again and this vid reminds me a lot of stuff has come out, and will be for next year. Also I am sure TTD2 will run more than 8 days buuuuuuuuuut Ima go opening weekend just to be safe lol I hear it's not the best time for CP I usually go in early June or Sept but I aint risking it!
It’s funny that Great Escape seemed to be the only Legacy Six Flags park that seemed to have properly planned their 2024 ride. Great Escape and Gravity Group really hit their marks to get it open.
did voltron 15 times, hyperia 5 times and nemesis reborn 19+ times this year, voltron is in my top 2 and hyperia is in my top 5, (cant decide between voltron and taron)
You got lucky it was closed when i visited this summer that your nr17. Really wanted yo do it. But i am really jealous you did TT2. Extended my holiday way in advance to ride it and then it didn't came back online. As for Fire in the whole i liked the ride but calling it a coaster is a bit of a stretch. Yeah technicly it is but i would just call it a dark ride. As a European i'm pretty happy with the new stuff they are building over here. Before helix opened in 2014 the only decent coasters where a few B&M inverts a few woody's and the the two steel ones in Europapark. Now it looks like we are overall ahead of the curve in new high thrill coasters and way better Family and mid tier coasters then the states. Especially the last couple of years. Edit: oops totaly forgotten Expedition Geforce and Shambala.
Some context would be nice, like what does gold rush do in the two different settings and where is it located at. I know we can all look it up on google in seconds but it would be cool if at least location was a given.
Gold Rush is at Drayton Manor in the U.K. a quick search through the channel videos and there’s a long explanation of the two ride experiences it offers
Honestly, as a UK enthusiast, Hyperia just feels like a dream. Like, how unbelievable that we have something completely world-class in almost every sense in the UK like this?? People talk about The Smiler, Nemesis, etc., but The Smiler (although still amazing) is rough af, and Nemesis is fantastic, but by no means the best in the world. Hyperia just tops off our collections of “amazings” here in the UK. 💛
2024 was the year that officially Vekoma became the go-to company for a creative, smooth, reliable coaster, and B&M became the company that makes rough, uninteresting coasters.
I really think bush garden made a mistake with going with B&M on the family invert. Vekoma makes such a good family inverts (yeah those in the states suck mostly although the one in coney island is ok). But i guess marketing is more importand in the US then Quality is. So you get a "first" thats nice for 1 year but unless you get a good first thats gonna coast you over the rest of the coasters life.
Your high def camera is so clear that it really highlighted to me that I live in Southside and this channel that is in my top 10 YT channels is probably filming down the turnpike from me. It’s so crazy to me.I constantly forget. 😅anywho, just wanted to pop in and say I did not shed a single tear for Anaconda closing like I did for Volcano. Worked both in 98 but riding Anaconda over the years has been like watching an aunt that you tolerated slowly devolve into a racist cartoon that you just can’t visit anymore. Girl, bye. 😂
Great video! PLEase do a video on Great Wolf Lodge. They are removing all of their animatronic clock tower shows. As far as I know there is only one left in Charlotte NC. Soon to be removed. No one is talking about it on RUclips. It’s the end of an era.
All American Triple Loop doesn’t count as a new for 2024 coaster, it was a relocation from many parks! Also, Nemesis Reborn doesn’t count cuz that’s a just an overhaul of Nemesis!
@CoasterStudios yeah, I know it's a retheme but it still kinda counts as a new coaster in a way. Kinda like when Flight of the Hippogriff replaced The Flying Unicorn at IOA or Tiana's replacing Splash Mountain, they're the same track layouts but the theming, music and stories are different. Then again, this is Trollercoaster we're talking about which didn't do too much of a retheming compared to Woody Woodpecker. Anyways, have a Happy New Year regardless. I can't wait for Epic Universe to open in less then 6 months already.
I think I’m nauseated by the talk about the B&M rattle, since it’s on every single one of their installations the last 24 months or so. It’s almost just implied now that it’s a thing on their rides. Just an absolute bummer.
I've seen this on other channels as well and that bears the question: why do you put a 40year old german made traveling roller coaster on this list of the "New for 2024" ? In my opinion: it does not belong on that list at all ! The question should be if relocated or 1to1 retracked rides should be on a "new for" list at all
Fun fact: Top Thrill 2 is currently pulling 1G of positive G force 😂

Having good gravy above both new B&M family coasters basically says everything about them right now
there was a preschooler who was tall
she wanted to ride millennium force so badly
she did
she loved it!
My husband and I want to do a trip using one of your seasons of coastin Europe!!
I'm so glad that Great Escape got Bobcat they really needed it. Now I finally get to ride 2 amazing woodies, The Bobcat and The Comet. 😊
I agree the Bobcat was a great addition to that park.
To start off the new year with a BANG tomorrow ima ride Formula Rossa! SO YAY
ALSO W TAYLOR BYBEE FOR WEARING THE SEA WORLD T SHIRT
Some context would be nice, like what does gold rush do in the two different settings and where is it located at. I know we can all look it up on google in seconds but it would be cool if at least location was a given.
Gold Rush is at Drayton Manor in the U.K. a quick search through the channel videos and there’s a long explanation of the two ride experiences it offers
I only rode Vindfald at Tivoli Friheden, its a new Gerstlauer Eurofighter
Honestly, as a UK enthusiast, Hyperia just feels like a dream. Like, how unbelievable that we have something completely world-class in almost every sense in the UK like this?? People talk about The Smiler, Nemesis, etc., but The Smiler (although still amazing) is rough af, and Nemesis is fantastic, but by no means the best in the world. Hyperia just tops off our collections of “amazings” here in the UK. 💛
You should rank the casualties of 2024, like all the coasters that got demolished or their removals announced
Im looking forward to Rapterra next year.
Same
Top Thrill 2 was fantastic. Much better than the original. I can't wait to ride it again. Hopefully they don't change it too much.
Yessss, thank you!!!
2024 - what a year! 🧡🧡🧡
i know it's not a coaster but danse macabre was really one of the themepark highlights of the year for me
Voltron is just a masterpiece !
When are you guys going to do your most anticipated new coasters for next year?
soon
@@CoasterStudios okay good to know.
Are you guys considering a trip to Canada maybe a series like Coastin' Through Canada???
wouldn't be much of a series cause we'd really only visit for Canada's Wonderland and the burger king coaster haha
Lol. True. Still gotta get that Thundervolt credit though.
me waiting for the "discussing the 2024 season with our younger selves"
Europa-Park is my favorite park worldwide (although I have not been to Disney Sea yet).
I know this is a crazy idea but I think it would be cool if Disney partnered with B&M to make family coasters at their parks
I feel like Taylor and Sarah are the sportscasters for the roller coaster world.😊😊😊
You are amazing
Wonder if they’re gonna visit their past self’s again 😂 love those vids they do
2:38 "What's a horus?"
Horus was an egyptian god, one of their main ones. He was the son of Oziris and Isis and most times depicted as a falcon.
WhAtS aN eGyPtIaN
The Warmaster, the arch traitor, lupercal
2024 was the year that officially Vekoma became the go-to company for a creative, smooth, reliable coaster, and B&M became the company that makes rough, uninteresting coasters.
I really think bush garden made a mistake with going with B&M on the family invert. Vekoma makes such a good family inverts (yeah those in the states suck mostly although the one in coney island is ok). But i guess marketing is more importand in the US then Quality is. So you get a "first" thats nice for 1 year but unless you get a good first thats gonna coast you over the rest of the coasters life.
We need a top 25 darkrides in the world!
will you do the talking to my future self videos, i loved the eone last year
yep!
I’m worried about big bad wolf at BGW after seeing these new B&M family coasters.
You guys never explained what made Gold Rush innovative! It’s all a mystery to me and now I’m going to have to look it up! 😂
We have an in depth video talking all about it! ruclips.net/video/3gVXpSYCIk8/видео.htmlsi=Kci0yUMjPOBXd7Qg
@ Thank you! Just got to the end of this video and will watch the one on Gold Rush next! Happy New Year!
Girl, bye. 😂
W TAYLOR FOR HAVING ABU DHABI MERCH LIKE ME
I only did 1 new for 2024 coaster fire in the hole 😢😢😢
Cant wait for 2025 and the new coasters in 2025
Great video! PLEase do a video on Great Wolf Lodge. They are removing all of their animatronic clock tower shows. As far as I know there is only one left in Charlotte NC. Soon to be removed. No one is talking about it on RUclips. It’s the end of an era.
we've never been to a Great Wolf Lodge!
All American Triple Loop doesn’t count as a new for 2024 coaster, it was a relocation from many parks! Also, Nemesis Reborn doesn’t count cuz that’s a just an overhaul of Nemesis!
I feel like no one is remembering that South Korea got an RMC raptor and Colombia got a Guerstlauer invert
Horus is an Egyptian deity. Not sure if that's what Vekoma was going for, though.
so real
Speaking of more rides being removed, did you hear the rumors of both Mr Freezes going as well?
So...Bobcat is the #1 US Coaster for the year? Alright! Rare win for Great Escape!
That’s it, I’m no longer a Taurus. I’m a Horus.
Bonne année
This was a wierd year for coasters for sure! But at least it was good for Mack!
Mack Rides is stepping up.
Voltron is amazing....!!!
Astro sign lol
Looks like Trolls Trollercoaster was forgotten
that was just a retheme, not a new coaster
@CoasterStudios yeah, I know it's a retheme but it still kinda counts as a new coaster in a way. Kinda like when Flight of the Hippogriff replaced The Flying Unicorn at IOA or Tiana's replacing Splash Mountain, they're the same track layouts but the theming, music and stories are different. Then again, this is Trollercoaster we're talking about which didn't do too much of a retheming compared to Woody Woodpecker. Anyways, have a Happy New Year regardless. I can't wait for Epic Universe to open in less then 6 months already.
Weird request but could you eq out the very low end on these videos? Each time you hit the table there's a super deep rumble 😅
we'll keep that in mind for the future!
Horus is an ancient Egyptian god (the one with the falcons head)
Day 7 of asking coaster studios to go to Busch gardens so I can meet them on my first visit
2:41 lol, like Egyptian mythology?
What do you think will repace anaconda?
1. B&M invert
2. B&M dive
3. RMC raptor
4. B&M hyper
5. Intamin or Mack multi launch
@Bobby_Mcdes7088 Those will all be great.
This was a bad year for B&M and great year for Mack, Vekoma, and Intamin. I would strongly consider the later 3 over B&M right now.
Voltron 100% ⚡️
horus is an ancient egyptian god
How come Nemesis Reborn was considered for this list but Loch Ness Monster: The Legend Lives On wasn't?
because only part of the ride was redone
When are you guys gonna talk to your past/future selves?
soon
👍
I think I’m nauseated by the talk about the B&M rattle, since it’s on every single one of their installations the last 24 months or so. It’s almost just implied now that it’s a thing on their rides. Just an absolute bummer.
I've seen this on other channels as well and that bears the question: why do you put a 40year old german made traveling roller coaster on this list of the "New for 2024" ?
In my opinion: it does not belong on that list at all !
The question should be if relocated or 1to1 retracked rides should be on a "new for" list at all
it is new to everyone in the U.S. even if it didn't officially make its worldwide debut this year. its new 'enough'
