Great performance. Looks like maybe a 5 octave Musser kelon, perhaps not everyone's first choice for orchestral soloing, but why would anyone comment negatively on it? Maybe they don't like his mallet choice, since he's using harder ones to bring out the articulation but they also bring out the glassy sound of the kelon.

Molto bravo, complimenti! desidero chiedere come mai i glissandi si rivelano poco efficaci ed anche perché nel 2° mov. non si sono impiegate mazzuole più grosse e pesanti ma sopratutto perché i tremoli sono fatti destra-sinistra cioè a bicordi alternati. Grazie.
beh sui bicordi ti so rispondere io: è più semplice così :) il problema come hai detto è che ha usato bacchette che li facevano sentire troppo staccati per la velocità che aveva nel rullo
l'ideale sarebbe poggiare alternativamente tutte e 4 bacchette (una alla volta), ma qui conta in modo di impugnare le bacchette: meglio tenerne una tra medio ed anulare hehe
I'm surprised to find myself saying this, but I actually like the sound of the Keylon here. If I set aside my very strong (4 decade!) bias against these instruments, it kind of works with the live orchestra. FWIW: we'd better all get used to hearing different timbres from the marimba as Honduran Rosewood gets harder and harder to get... Great job, young man!

ありがとうございます!このマリンバはマッサーのキーロンマリンバです。ローズウッドではなくファイバー素材で鍵盤が作られています。マレットはVicFirthのテリーギブスモデルM33を1、3楽章でM32を2楽章で使用しています。
