DEI Reflect A Gold Intake Heat Wrap on our Veloster Turbo Track Car!

Hello everyone, it was time to give the intake on the KDM Tuners track car some love with some new heat wrap. Some of you asked for it, so we went ahead and filmed it, not the most riveting video it is a simple yet tedious job, but if you wanted to get some confidence before diving in, hope this helps!

What products if any do you use to patch any plastic composite pieces that break?

I havent had to patch anything yet.. But i do have a plastic welder that i would likely try to use. You can find them cheap at Harbor Frieght Tools

Does capping off a recirculating valve mess up your turbo or anything in the car

No, these cars use a MAP sensor so it has no effect other than maby slightly faster spool time gear to gear. You can vent straight to atmosphere

@@robertodominguez4907 intercooler resonator delete, 3.5" intake. Sri or cai either is fine just go by your climate. If you get a lot of rain sri might be better. Better tires makes a difference. Catch can is a good idea. And then a rear torsion bar. Anything after that is gonna be up to you and your bank account
