I am so proud of you to see all you have accomplished. You probably don't remember me, but I was a teenager when I worked at the Old Mill in Damascus Virginia like a decade ago. I spoke to you a few times just to tell you how amazing I thought you were. Being a young musician/singer myself you were, and still are such an inspiration to me. You deserve every good thing that has come your way and so much more. You are a rising star that will continue to shine ❤ . You give so many people so much hope.
Wow, Ms. Kiah is such a gifted messenger. Yes, forgive her. Her pain was that deep, her spirit that broken, that she couldn't hold on. It's what society does to many. Breaks us. Forgive her, it'll help you heal and in turn, your message will help others heal.
Honest gut and heart wrenching masterpiece that lays her heart bare, superbly performed! I hope it gives her comfort. I feel I can relate somewhat to the loss Ms. Kiah has faced. My dad didn't commit suicide (so I was spared the bewilderment of that), but he died suddenly when I was 19, just when a young man may need his dad the most. The best man I ever knew, I was angry and devastated... it was so damn unfair!!! To this day (over 50 years) I still miss Dad's love, his amazing patience and wisdom, and do thank God for the time I did have him. Amythyst Kiah, this song touched DEEP into my heart. You are an AMAZING talent! God bless and I wish you great success!
Amythyst, it’s brave of you to open up about this traumatic event in your life. Putting it to music must be a welcome release. Now the song has a deeper meaning for those who listen. Thank you for this and all of your music.
I just listened to your interview on NPR (KUT, here in Austin) and I got amazing goosebumps from your music and the way you talk about things. I'm grateful that you're here, Amythyst. What a gift to the world.
I feel like I remember you singing this one in your set in Middlesbrough Town Hall a few years ago. It's such a deep, beautiful song. Your entire performance that night has stayed with me, you had such presence and your songs were so real.
Very, very beautiful. I heard this on KCRW today and wanted to find out more about you. Your exquisite pure voice with your effortless range, lovely. Superb moment
Hauntingly emotive song! You are just an incredible person, Amythyst. Your openness to share so many personal and intimate things is what makes you such a beautiful human being. Your openness will help many others I am sure who are struggling. Sending love and hugs. ❤️❤️❤️
Ms. Kiah: I heard you for the first time yesterday morning when your were highlighted on Sessions, CBS This Morning. Within seconds of hearing you sing, I was moved. I then searched for more of your music on You Tube and found Wild Turkey. What an amazing piece! Powerful and moving lyrics, amazing vocals, and instrumentals-please keep up the good work! I am planning to see you perform live in the coming months. You have an amazing gift and talent-Thanks so much for sharing it with the world! BTW-you have a great name which suits you. JB

What a wonderful find! What a voice, so full of emotion and pure. Love this talent and artist!!!
Lovely voice. Like the way the light acoustic, deep base and the distorted drone come together. Want this in my library.
