This is fairly fun to watch, in large part because the baseline movement is fairly different from other presets. And it doesn't rely on infinite mana, so even if the mystic pendant helps out, it doesn't replace the need to sometimes conserve mana. Wolf super-jumps are also hilarious to watch, especially when they go in the wrong direction. As far as "frame perfect" goes, my background in fighting games means I take it literally outside speedrunning, since fighting games often have many combos rely on specific frame windows, with the most exacting ones being 1-frame. My favourite example is Bryan Fury from Tekken with his Taunt Jet Upper. His Taunt deals an unblockable 0-damage hit which leaves the opponent open for 16 frames, Jet Upper takes 13 frames to land after the input. While that may appear to be a 3 frame window, the first input of Jet Upper will cancel the Taunt at any time, so you quite literally can't buffer it. You instead have to react to the Taunt confirming the hit and then use the first 3 frames after to do each of the three inputs needed for Jet Upper. If you're even one frame too late, the opponent will likely block the Jet Upper automatically by not hitting any buttons or doing any motions. But using "frame perfect" to describe hard to execute tricks that rely on precise timing is just a part of the speedrun vocaublary, same with "pixel perfect" for tricks where you need to be in a specific location. Of course, some speedrun tricks _are_ literally frame perfect, just as there are a lot of literally pixel perfect tricks, but practice and setups can help with both of those.
I like lycanthrope because it takes something that's frequently used very little and makes it a fun and optimal thing to use. I also really like the bingo idea and am excited to see that implemented
Lycanthrope!!!! Aw yeah! The Lycanthrope competition happened when I first got to know of Dr4gonBlitz, it definitely was part of why I subscribed and stayed subscribed.
As a viewer I got kinda bored of the Lycanthrope tournament after a bit. It was the lack of variety that kinda did me in. That said with any single preset tournament I end up getting somewhat drained after a bit and duck out till the finals.
YESDSD!!!1!!!! Lycanthrope!!!! 😁😁😁 Been waiting for this for far too long! PLEASE give us another tournament of Lycanthrope! 😍 Best, randomizer, preset, ...ever!!!!

Gonna have to be GOATed with the sauce. Lycanthrope is a blast.
We all know you're only speed running SotN, streaming, and playing the rando is so that you can get in a Summoning Salt video.
Short of Rogue...the first randomizer I remember hearing anything about was a FF6 romhack from like 2001 or so.
Lycanthrope is the GOAT rando preset.
