Length of cruise: For those of us that need to travel hours by air to get to a cruise port, shorter cruises are not cost effective. We need to fly in the day before and sometimes need to stay an extra day to fly home. We need to add the extra hotel costs to the cost of "the weekend." We normally take a 9-12 day cruise.

The couple is obviously lying when they came back with their video whoever was supposedly watching the kids. Why did they not get on there themselves and say hey while they were out to dinner we were with the kids they were nowhere to be found. Do you know why because they were lying through their teeth, and none of them wanted to get caught up in their lies. shout out Ludacris.

For fewer children on board, cruise during the school year.
That means 2 things. 1. Kids under 5. And 2. People who take vacations, with their kids any dratted time they want. School isn’t important.
During the school year and a longer cruise. Parents are less apt to pull a kid out for 10, 12, 14 days

After cruising with several other companies my wife and I chose as you said, opened our pockets and cruised the Mediterranean with Viking. It was the best time ever! Small ship,not too many people and great destinations!

One of my best ways for cruising with not a lot of kids is do not book a cruise with water slides and lots of kid activities or that do not have kids clubs really helps. Usually not a ton of kids. Still some kids but not a ton

The phrase that follows an initial participle phrase (which is a phrase that looks like it is a verb) doesn't go with that initial thought as a completer. Even Carnival can be a pleasant experience without drunks and kids everywhere. Just book a longer cruise while school is in session. A Journeys Cruise is a good option

They posted they left the kids with a baby monitor, not their sister or a family member, so now there is no way I would trust any story from them saying anything about a baby sitter was with them. because that would have been their first answer, and they never posted any photos of any other family on the trip BAN them from cruising.
And how do they explain the need for a baby monitor if someone was in the room with the babies?

all guests on Viking must be at least 18 yrs so another place to escape all children if that's a concern. Aramaza, Oceania, and Viking are ultrapremium (not luxury all inclusive) with most things included in price unlike mainstream cruiselines where soft drinks and dessert are probably extra. Oceania is introducing their new ship, Allura, and I believe they have at least one more being built. Seems like there a whole lot of ships being built.

The Viking Cruises aren't really more expensive than my theme cruise aka Star Trek.
So with people smuggling star link on cruise ships,
we can expect all luggage in the future to be opened thus delaying embarkation.-((

Viking River Cruises are GREAT!! If YOU want to have the TIME of your Life while Cruising then I suggest the Amsterdam to Budapest River Cruise as it was UNREAL!!
There are other ones besides Viking! And any river cruise is probably going to be kid free. We went on a German company this summer out of Vienna. Beautiful new boat - we took our 2 teenagers and the younger one had a 30% discount for his age! So we sort of expected at least a couple
Other kids. Not one. Husband and I both agree we don’t know what more we would have gotten with a Viking cruise and ours was like 30% the cost of one.

The “weekend” cruises do nothing for me. My first two cruises were RCCL, 3-day and 4-day cruises. Both were combined with time at Disney, so they were week long vacations, but I found the cruises themselves to be way too short. If I had only done the cruise, it would have been too expensive since I live in a different country. Will not be doing short cruises like that again. Minimum 7-day cruise for me.

We love Viking. And they are NOT necessarily more expensive. Take everything into account: all inclusive (excursions, drink packages, etc.)

😂 I just had a look at the Australian prices for the star link mini and compared them with the residential prices 😂 if you look at the unlimited roaming cost of the mini and compared it to the residential it’s dearer for the mini either way so why in the world would you just not purchase a ship internet package when it’s going to be far cheaper anyway 😂

If you want to cruise with less kids, cruise when they are normally in school. I have cruised in July and February multiple times. There is definitely a difference.
LOL...multiple likes if YT would let me today. I think StarLink mini would be a great option if you travel a lot rather than using the public WiFi (even with a VPN), but too expensive for my usage.
They are back tracking. They know what they did. Their ‘explanation’ video didn’t seem honest plus they never revealed who was with the kids who were in separate rooms!!!
