    Function over form makes perfect sense. Thanks for including snippets from the prequel videos to remind us of all that you've done so far. I recall being shocked at the original ulcer and now so impressed by the improvement resulting from your crew's care. Well done Hoof GP!

    Whoeee..delighted cow 2803 is doing great, she had one very sore foot for weeks...thank you for nursing her back and caring for her so well.. i hate animals being neglected when not well.. brill job..as usual... 🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄

    My 5 yr old grandson and I are watching this and he is asking me for a kids hood trimming kit where he can practice since he is young he says and can’t do a big cow. He has quite the imagination. Thanks for giving him and I something to connect over.

    I'm so glad to see an update on cow🐄 2803. She's much improved, but it will be so good to see that poor hoof event healed. Thanks to you & the farmer for having due diligence. She did have 1 sore hoof. Brilliant job as always Graeme. ❤️🐄🐄Thank you for caring so much. Can't wait for the next update on this lady.

    What causes them to take longer to come up like that? Just being so bad to begin with? Thank you for continuing to persevere to help her and caring so much about all their comfort. They’re lucky you are included in their team of caretakers!

    I'm pretty proud to say that I did, in fact, expect the passage from the ulcer to the back of the foot, because it bent weirdly when you pushed on that surface! Tho I also expected to be wrong since I often am 😅😂

    That really does look miles better - when half your foot is dangling out of somewhere it shouldn’t be it’s going to take a while to recover. It’s wonderful the hoof GP is there to take such great care of all those lucky Scottish cows 🐮

    Hi Graeme,
    SUGGESTION for MERCHANDISE: How about coffee cups with with caricatures of each of you. So a cup with you or craggy boy or kevin doing different task, you with a grinder, Kevin doing a wrap, Craggy boy doing a block. I would buy the whole set.

One thing however that really fustrates me however is that you guys never ever include links to the videos you post related to a specific cow in the description etc. I want to go back and watch them all in sequence but I never can without specifically searching!

    This poor cow. I feel her pain. I had an Achilles tendon repair surgery in June 2023 and a second surgery in November 2023 to remove silicone covered sutures. The wound would not heal and finally closed up about a week ago after months of treatment. She is lucky to have w y’all to help her!!

    If you can break even through treatment is the best case for the cow and most humane. Those who put down problematic bovine never seem to make profit each year.

    Out of curiosity can vets trim the ulcerated skin down if it doesn't ever start to go down?

      Yes, but obviously they would prefer not to.

      @@alistairclement4239 absolutely they'd try everything else first. I just wasn't sure what sort of treatments could be done if it never healed or shrank down. I know he's said the corium (sp?) is like fingers of skin inside and wasn't sure if that's why the ulcers bulge out so much and if trimming one down would even be possible in the worst case scenario.

    Back in Kentucky we call that "proud flesh." It has to be kept dry and open to air for faster healing. It's already granulated. Actually, it won't stop granulating, if I recall correctly.

      I guess that would depend on the conditions right? In Scotland in spring it’s going to be generally very wet and muddy, I’d imagine in Kentucky it would dry much quicker?

      @@IsSalty it's proud flesh. It has to be dry so the granulation stops. It's very vascular. Might be better if the farmer put her in a clean pen and sprayed betadine or iodine on it daily. Just an observation.
