ScrapLife is definitely my favorite channel for videos like these and I always am eager to see more content from upu guys so having just short videos like this on your channel is very nice to see and i’m sure it doesn’t take too too much time to make and edit them hopefully! But like you were saying i’d live to see you buying a car and then taking it apart on the main channel!
When you have full stock, its not worth overpaying :) ... And here in Europe the markets is cooling off so definetly i will not spent much :) .... But you are right that you can get deals when is Holiday time :)
The entire car market in general is cooling off significantly. I think here in the states, it will continue to trend down pretty much all the next year.
Just found this channel about six weeks ago. Love watching and learning from it. I want an 18 or newer mustang gt premium track pack so bad it hurts. Lol But $ 45,000 and $700 a month is just out of the question. Been thinking of buying a wreaked one. But most are to far away to go look at. And I'm seeing some of those scammer cars. Plus the photographer for copart don't take good enough pictures to see the real damage as if they don't want you to.
Track pack Mustang is a great choice. I’ll try to work some Mustang content in at some point. They are tough. There is a big divide between the parts mustangs and the fixer mustangs. We can buy a parts 18+ around 10k all day long. But, it seems like a good fixer will cost u 20k+ all day long. There is very little in between.
I'd love to see a video where you guys nail through tons of Camaros, CTS-Vs, and your other bread and butter cars all at once. Or a brand vs brand partout battle with like 3 cars per brand.
8500 was my number on this car as well. Been doing insurance auction cars on the side for over 20years. I will fix, drive them and flip them. I average 3 or 4 a year.

On a side note do you think you guys might finally start buying a few wrecked Porsche 996’s for parts and video content. I would love to see you guys purchase a wrecked 2004-2005 996.2 Turbo or Turbo S with the 6-Speed Manual. You guys could do a full on 997 front end swap or a GT2 Tribute or Clone car, or just convert it to RWD then tune it to the moon. Have any of you already modified a 996.1, 996.2 or 997.1 Turbo or Turbo S with a 6-Speed Manual and the beloved Metzger 3.6L Turbo or Turbo S Engine?

I’m surprised often on how much you guys step up to buy salvage. I compare to clean title cars with MMR and it’s not that far off. Plus Copart fees are nuts, plus transport etc. Do you guys look at Manheim TRA for inventory?
We don’t look at Mannheim. Just from a competition standpoint point. There are SOOO many dealers that buy from there. Cars that are beyond repair often make the best parts cars. And those end up at salvage auction.
It's was an auto GS so it has the same ls3 engine as the base C6 most the money would of came from wide body panels and brakes I'm guessing around 13-15k
No, its runs in about 20 minutes it looks like. 75k and still on reserve. There just isnt enough of a story with it and its a tough thumbnail color car. Just another stolen challenger at the end of the day. Just happens to have the big blower. 😁
Pssshh, JSB isn’t even the best blue for a c6. LeMans is #1, Super Sonic #2, then JSB. U are right blues are great colors on the c6 tho….Right behind inferno orange 😁

@@kfg7733 Corvettes are sneaky. There are A LOT of money in smaller parts on these cars. But, u are 100% right on the big ticket items there.
It should have produced probably close to 20k in parts value.
