Dude. As a drone hobbits, the less you get involved with the FAA the better.. Guys like you (!)&, etc) Homeland Security will stop by your home to collect all the drones you registered with them.
Greg, I was thinking they were planes also, but I saw 6 of these “UAP’s” on the coast of New Jersey! They did not move for over 3 hours! They were 1000-1500 ft in the air! Flashing red green and white lights. I have flown my mini 4pro and now the air 3s at night often and I have never seen these things before. It’s crazy!
There is also the city installing new street lights that aren't as bright so that now persons can see more stars. The funniest thing is guys out of focus saying it's an orb and filming Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn snd other objects. I think the Aztecs who understood orbiting planets had a way of dealing with these types of people :)
Remember that not all aircraft have ADSB-out. There's no way for civilians to see a transponder code. There are some apps that show SOME of the ADSB traffic.
Drones are the future, just like a speed limit in the road, a stop sing or a traffic ligh. I bet all those thing that now are laws once were the talking point like now. Some of this low flying planes in new jersey can be drones if they dont have a person inside flying the plane. I have a camera with a 600mm lens and I always look at the sky because is my hobby, but now i see a sworn of planes up to 8 at the time and they not show up in the plane finder map, I also take pictures of so many of them and they are fix wing planes with turbines in their wings very unusual for small jets like business jets they have the turbines in the back, i belive this small jets are about 40’ long and flying under 3000’ and under 100 mph also very unusual for any jet with turbines. This my personal take, they are very expensive, they need a runway nearby, and they need big hangers to hide during the day.
@PilotInstitute thank you. My issue is there's a theme park near me who claim they have applied for critical infrastructure status and have gone after pilots for flying over any part of their property (in the off-season, so no OOP violations, etc.), though any FAA map shows the property as uncontrolled airspace.
Dude, you know you're not going to have a business in 5 years after the government slowly makes flaying all drones by citizen illegal, dont you? You're in complete denial of what's going on carrying on like its business as usual.

Taking my Part 107 test tomorrow.
Good luck! You won’t need it though, you will get it!
You've got this!

They are not transponding though as FAA required for manned flights???

If you fly a DJI Neo without a controller and just press one of the auto modes is that controlled flight? Is there a rPIC? Doesn’t seem like it…
I always forget about this. Also doesn't help, I don't know what time this is going on, EST..
6pm eastern.
Can I fly my drone in my back yard in town in ill
Download the Air Aware app for free in the app store and it will tell you the airspace restrictions in your area.

I thought the "critical infrastructure" regulation never went into effect for the state-defined infrastructure.
It didn’t and that’s the problem. So each state can have their own rules.

If someone has $10k to spend should they invest in thermal or lidar? (For example flir drone vs used DJI matrice and l1)
Keep the 10. Start an LLC. Get a loan. Go from there, get what you need to do the work you want to do.
