Back in the 1970s I was a member of a youth club in Kirkby, near Liverpool, run by a bloke who was a builder , we often went on a trip to Formby sand dunes in the back of his dumper truck that carried stone , giving following car drivers the finger . We got tipped out when we got there . Happy days , the ‘elf and safety brigade would be having seizures today .
I once rode in a trailer, all the way from Newton le Willows with a Kawasaki motorcycle and no car seat. My job was to make sure the Kawasaki motorcycle didn’t fall over because we didn’t have any straps. You wouldn’t get away with it nowadays, but back in the late 80s people didn’t really care so much. Which is why so many people were crushed to death by motorcycles flying around in the back of a trailer. The trailer was covered, so I was perfectly safe from being discovered by Old Bill and the risk was worth it to me because it was my Kawasaki motorcycle. It was probably a bit less bumpy than the yard, but we probably reached speeds approaching 60mph despite the 50 stickers people were compelled to have on their trailers. Reminds me of the little van with a 70 sticker in the back that passed me on the motorway when I was doing 75 earlier. I commend Boaty for getting his hands dirty, the big question is will this be the birth of a new, slightly useful Boaty or a flash in the pan?
I have had to watch this twice just to make sure I wasn't hallucinating...! Boaty actually did some manual labour!! Laughed at the commentary, including "where did that hat come from?" and really enjoyed the incidental music, especially "Saaaaafe-ty Boots" 😀 Still loving the trailer ride. It's one of my highlights of 2024! King Boaty of Windyland, in his carriage.
A great cleanup! I wonder if you can get 3 cars in the lockup... Shoud be great! Now, heading to see selling some of the cars in the yard! Great work and great video as usual Mustard, keep going!
Good to see your still getting rid of stuff you've not going to use or haveing to many of the same parts and starting to think to getting people to move there cars just sitting there doing nothing and not paying for you need to start thinking for your self as people will take advantage when they have the chance as the end of the day you're paying the rent for the yard your useing not them and makeing the yard look better 👍
You just need one more bloke to do a remake of Last of the Summer Wine but Lancashire style. It was good to see genuine fun and a lot of of tit-arseing about. More
The ironic thing is if you actually do clear the place out fully, and have every car fixed and sutting nicely, then there'll be nothing to make videos about and you'll be screwed! Catch 22.
Brilliant were all kids at heart when all the scrap has gone will youtube really make you a monthly wage if you don't sell any motors must be some mega coinage in the youtube what's an average wage 2 grand a month or I am I not working the figures out correctly
Life isn't all about money I'm not disrespecting you but it's a must you need cars that will sell localish to you price bracket will need to right I like your channel I hope it goes on for many years to come for all the piss taking ect but I honestly hope you succeed with project nigel it's real world brilliance
