Hope you got a Gaggia! I learned a lot from my first true espresso machine, in 2020 I bought a Gaggia Classic Pro. Now I roast my own beans too with a Kaleido M2 home roaster machine. Yes, I have OCD...obsessive coffee disorder.

    Bellissimo caffe!
You are missing out on the rise of coffee culture in Australia, where, since the 1970s Italian migrants and their children have cultivated a vast collection of excellent inner city cafes and barista training. NOT Starbucks but real Italian coffee in the sunny land of the south.

Wow… what an amazing video! After 45 years of coffee drinking, Starbucks, and US Navy style coffee, I had my first cup of espresso. My family bought me a DēLonghi espresso/cappuccino maker for my birthday… what a beautiful gift !!! I tasted my first cup of espresso and I fell in love. Your video is a great way to learn the history and mechanics behind the art of espresso brewing. Thank you so much, and happy sipping!

Welcome. I own the same machine but I am going to upgrade to a Gaggia. I like saying Gaggia. And it was the first espresso machine. My coffee journey started in Germany when I was in university The coffee was so much richer than what we had in the US. Like Navy coffee. Now I find myself in Madagascar and I will bring my Delonghi Dedica and my Gaggia grinder to a coffee region in Madagascar. I cannot wait to have traditionally roasted coffee made in a traditional espresso machine.

Great video. Other videos ignore the fact that a high pressure creates what is basically a different drink.

The ultimate history of espresso is in a nutshell: Italians couldn't manage to make Turkish coffee and invented a machine for it in 20th century.😄

You are missing out on the traditional coffee culture in Venezuela as productor of the best arabica since 1760 where Italian migrants and their children have cultivated a vast collection of excellent inner city cafes and barista training.
