Fascinating to see the science behind the portion.
And i love the fact that the tour guide stressed that it is the barrista, and not the machine that makes the perfect coffee.
    Great, sustainable Philosophy, too.
    Good one.
    Continua, per favori.

      Glad you liked it 😛
There is a reason why so many specialty shops use these machines 😛
I love the attention to detail they have and the philosophy behind the brand 😛
Plus they are so much fun to use 😁

My mind is fully changed. I have owned a Breville, then Gaggia and now an Ascaso Steel Duo. Always thought La Marzocco were a little snobby but now I want one. Oops 😬

Not sure if I missed it, but what is the origin for the name La Marzocco? Meaning?

The Marzocco is the name of a lion statue by Leaonardo. It used to be placed in the center of each city after it was conquered.
This is now the no go of La Marzocco, and the idea was to conquer every coffee bar by place a Marzocco on each counter

The barrista's get Repetitive Stress Injury (RSI) NOT Carpal Tunnel. This is a CRITICAL difference.

If Starbucks is using these machines why are Starbucks espresso shots so crappy?

Probably because they don’t take the time to train their staff properly (espresso is difficult) and their beans are not the best quality.
