The first real dyno pulls where made on the engine
after adjusting the carbs a bit and making some testruns
They had some troubles with getting all the power to the wheel ...
Some cvt parts broke and they had to make do with an old transmission for now , the next time they will test a brand new transmission ( polini vario and ceramic front pulley + .2 polini belt + 2fast pulleys + polini 3g clutch ) this should be better ...

hehe , this engine is not for my scooter , im building a new roost 100cc engine which should make 40+ hp , this 200cc engine is from swedishracingteam and will be putt in to a dragraceframe , check out there instagram ( link under the video )
zip stunter could you in theory put that motor on a normal scooter frame?
you could with some heavy mods , custom subrame , ...

If it's a 180° twin parallel engine, you can share one resonance chamber.
Looks like there is no air going through your variomatic housing, bruh. There is no fan. Be careful... Maybe thats why all the stuff broke (clutch, pulley etc.)

I think these who build this is aware of everything and is knowledgeable of this monster😂 You can see a red Intake for air at the variator.
Its good that your engine didnt brake in half because of the power you need to put all of the screws on the bloock cover when testing its suport but crazy engine

No problems, Lectron designed them for this angle, quite a smart little mod inside actually, easy and smart.
Is there the same motor or something similar, only a version for a motorcycle? I just want to put it on my motocross bike.

What are your thoughts about polini ceramic speed drive evolution 3 pulleys? Probably the ceramic coating could help the belt from not losing grip under such an amount of hp
We never hade any problems with the belt slipping and causing heat, we just burned the reveno clutch, i figure a heavy duty one with more discs would be a nice evolution.
This with my heavy roller in dyno, it is heavier to accelerate then the complete chassi is later when testing on the strip.
And we will try Polini Ceramic, LMR is a bad design, there is no splines in the pulley.

Is it normal to have so much excess fuel blowing out of the ITBs?
What you are seeing is called carb/fuel standoff and is a result of ( in this case ) too much port timing in a 4 stroke it would be the cam timing.
i would say its quite normal in this state of tune (race engine)

I don't play with 2 strokes but hope to do a project one day.
I was thinking that, looks like it's got reed valves on the intake so it shouldn't do that. You only get that with no reeds or rotary valves but the carbs aren't on the ends of the crank, feel free to correct me, I know a bit about 2 strokes having owned a few but it doesn't mean I'm right 😀.
@@dubsydubs5234 i think this has rotaru valves but uses a slide style carb which sprays sometimes
I wonder how much total cost to make this twin 2 stroke engine with CVT.. this looks way more interesting than my tuned up 150cc 4 stroke honda scooter :o

They can try polini 3g clutch or doppler its good too, also im pretty sure polini vario and pulley are going to handle it, polini is high quality.
yeah they will try that next , it will handle it polini has the best cvt stuff ... i have it in my zip 2 , the 3g clutch has the most grip material off all clutches on the market

yeah almost double , delta clutch has not been updated in a long time , polini 3g is much better and easyer to adjust 2

We need a video with all the specifications of this engine: Maximum RPM, cylinders internal measures, HP graphic, torque graphic, etc etc...
they are still in the process off setting it up , bore = 52mm stroke = 47mm , when i get new footage ... ill try to add a full setup list , with all the parts off the engine

I'm surprised that you are not having issues with flooding due to the steep angle that those Lectrons are mounted at. I run one of these carbs on a KTM 300, they are not bad as carbs go.

on my engines i use , elf htx 976+ ... swedishracingteam is using methanol with special oil for the twin engine in the video

stage6 70cc sport, airsal 70cc sport. no 70cc "racing" classed cylinders because your stock crank bearings will not be able to handle them

they keep it secret for now , the engine only had a couple off runs and they still have allot off tuning to do to make it perfect ... butt it sounds powerfull already

@@zipstunter lol. "sounds" and "is" are 2 very different things. my old CR250 sounded a lot more boss at 10.5k than your 12 or 13k 200cc here. I'm guessing the peak is really narrow the way it climbed. but props for the time I know you have in it. it still aint close to 40hp tho but I'd give it 25-30

you have to build it from , many parts ... from different brands , and involves allot of tuning and milling ... cateno miano makes the special center section needed to make it twin

Zip stunter Why dont they use dr pulley clutch i mean more torque becouse of weight on the bell and the clutch has a mechanism that in most cases dosent slip😂
over here in europe dr pulley is not really know , and nobody uses it ... its maybe worth a try ... i dunno , but i think a normal polini clutch will be able to handle it , many twins use just the normal style clutches , the new problem they have now is that they spin the outgoing axle in the gears , or break the gears ... its just so much power
