I’m glad to hear it’s more of a collaborative effort. I love Eric, he’s the most consistent thrash master out there. But only good things can come from getting all these amazing musicians together! And I’m so so happy to hear it’s more aggressive!🤘

I hope the new stuff isn't too "modern sounding". The new Cavalera re-recording of Schizophrenia strikes a perfect balance of old and new and I hope many of the older bands take a hint from that re-recording. Fun interview with Chuck.

I keep thinking about what Chuck said about being influenced by younger bands and using songs that are aggressive but then have a clean chorus as the example. That right there terrifies me! That! Is exactly what makes me hate the newer bands. You have this amazing aggressive song and then bam! The pussy ass chorus that kills the entire vibe. The formula is tired as hell. Kill Switch Engage has been doing it 20 years. I really really pray that isn’t the type of thing Testament is going to do. They are one of my two all time favorite bands. I don’t even know who I’d be without them 🤘
