Exodus too. Yes it's amazing how they are in their 60s and still doing thrash. I saw Overkill a few years ago and they made the opening band look weak, young guys.
Great interview Dimitri. I've just turned 50 and I'm/We are so lucky to hear new music from bands from the 80's and 70's. Heck ! Deep Purple are releasing a new album soon. Great time to be alive. Long Live Metal. Cheers!
Love that they are remastering the first two albums. MASTERPIECES! Hopefully this tour comes close by me. I will definitely go. Chuck Billy for me has always been one of the best Thrash Metal singers ever. He sounds amazing on ballads as well.
Testament deserves to make money, and I'm glad that they are on the track and the label recognizes the significance of TESTAMENT. The world is your chuck enjoy
Chuck is seriously my hero! And Testament rules! I pushing for Nuclear Blast to put the remasters out on cd. It’s killing me that they’re only doing vinyl and streaming. I’ve been waiting decades!
Great interview! Really enjoyed this. Nice one Jimmy. Lots of stuff I’d never heard about before. You asked the right questions at the right time. Maybe the Home Depot parking lot also had Chuck in the right frame of mind. I prefer talking metal to that place any time. Ha!
Testament is my favorite thrash metal band ever. So glad they are still killing in the studio and on the stage! Chuck seems like a very cool dude, down the earth. Nice interview👏🤘🤘
In the early 90's I tried to start a fight with Chuck Billy. I heard he was a fighter, and I was drunk and ran into him, so, I asked him if he ever ate frog legs before, and he said no. I said, well that's good because I like frogs. He said, I like frogs too. That fight fell flat but I'm glad that he likes frogs.
The Black album afforded Sir Jason Newstead to retire from Metallica and pursue some lofty projects that had impact and long lasting affects,It took Brass Balls for Jason to leave Metallica and carry on!!!!!!
Aren't the original recordings of ALL albums ever recorded in the USA stored in that old underground mine in the upper peninsula of Michigan? It's where Jack and Ozzy Osbourne went in that one episode to listen to the original Blizzard of Oz recordings. Here: ruclips.net/video/2xe-VAoLsf0/видео.html
Testament and Overkill just keep delivering year on year. It is remarkable how consistent they remain. Chuck has an incredible presence, top man!

Del James being involved is a very good thing
Love the intro music. Reminds me of Faith Factor.
They really should remaster the first 2 KINGS X albums that came out on MEGA FORCE pronto!!!!!!!
He threw the 2 inch tapes away? WHAT?!?!
Me and chuck Billy celebrate the same day of birth.
