Held 2 strands of River Rock to knit a marled effect scarf for a friend and it turned out gorgeous. The blues, greens, grays and golds in River Rock are superb!

I love the colors in Spun Colors Yarn, its beautiful. Especially the Poppy colorway, but they are all very pretty. I really like Premier yarns. Thanks for all the great tutorials, reviews and unboxing.
I wasn't sure about the colors when you unboxed them, they looked quite busy to me. BUT, that cowl is amazing. It is a reminder of one of my favorite artists, Claude Monet. In particular his painting entitled Water Lillies. Gorgeous! I may have to save up for some of this yarn after all.
The type of stitch makes the yarn and stitch work up uniquely. The variegated yarns have to be used with certain stitches to be in harmony or the stitch could get lost...this is very beautiful worked up this way! I am going to make this when my Twilight Spun arrives.

I checked Premier last eve and alot of the colors were sold out. I'll have to wait to purchase as the color I wanted is sold out. The color changes don't bother me. Would keep me from being bored. Thank you Crystal for this video along with the unboxing.
LOL! I can tell Crystal is doing a review, I went to check out the color Agate on Premier's website and it was in stock. Before putting it in my cart, I looked at the color Autumn. I decided to go back and get the Agate instead, and it was out of stock! It took about 10 seconds for that color to sell out. Thank you for another awesome review Crystal, now I'm waiting for re-stock! I LOVE the cowl! I love the "busy-ness" of this yarn and the projects it creates! This will be a scarf and also possibly a blanket for my hubby!

I love watching yarn reviews. I find it very inspirational and education when it comes to how I think about yarn for projects. Very handy as a beginner. I hope to see some more reviews of hobbii yarns in the future. It's quite local to me so I usually shop there for quick deliveries

I like it and I think it’s worth the price. As for colors, they’re pretty. It doesn’t bother me if colors change; I love to see what pattern they make, and if I make a sweater and the colors do their own thing, it just makes the sweater one of a kind-unique, if you will-and it can never be duplicated. I like that! It’s my design, and no one can ever make one like it. 😉 there are times I manipulate colors to go in a pattern I want for a specific look, too. It’s just fun!
Love the multi colours, I have not tried that yarn but it dose look like Red Heart roll with it Tweed I just got for Christmas, can't wait to make the cowl, :) I will posted thank for sharing and Happy New Years Crystal and family

Hi Crystal! Actually what you are calling a roving yarn is actually a single or single ply. As a spinner, when I take unspun wool and twist the fibers, they become a single ply. I can then take several singles and twist them together to make a 2, 3, or 4 ply. This yarn is a gorgeous single ply. I hope I can find some locally. I’d like to try it.
They are beautiful. I am making the cowl now but I don't have any of that yarn so I am making the cowl with Premier anti pilling DK 3 weight and a 5 mm hook :)

I think I would like that yarn worked up in smaller stitches like singles and half doubles, to spread the colors out a little more.
