Short and sweet! I wanna play, but its looking more like the CH701 for me...I think it will fit "our" needs. Thank you guys for doing what you do. I'm a former Gen Av Pilot who lost my certs due to medical which is now under control...about ready to tackle the sky routes again but having difficulty finding local partner...I'll need at least one other friend/pilot to share expenses.
Very nice Plane, and i am very interested! Unfortunately, there is no type certificate in Germany for ULM 600kg. Only the CH650 Ei or E 472,5kg with empty weigth in most cases 320-330 KG.
In the US an ultralight is defined in FAR Part 103.1 as having only one seat, weighs less than 254 lbs. empty, has a 5 gal. fuel capacity, a 55 knot maximum airspeed in level flight, and a stall speed of no more than 24 knots. Ultralights also don't have an airworthiness certificate and do not require a license or medical certificate to fly, but getting some training is always a good idea. A Light Sport Aircraft is defined in FAR Part 1.1 as having a maximum seating capacity of 2, a maximum takeoff weight of 1320 lbs., a maximum airspeed in level flight of 120 knots, a stall sped of no more than 45 knots, a single piston engine, and fixed landing gear. Light Sport Aircraft need to have an airworthiness certificate and require a Sport Pilot license to fly at a minimum. A Sport Pilot license can be obtained with as little as 20 hours of flight instruction and requires no medical certificate as so long as you have a valid US driver's license. The only hitch is getting access to a LSA for instruction if you don't already own one. Depending on where you live many flight schools do not have an LSA to rent for instruction.
Height over the threshold made me twitch a bit. The piano keys are not the touchdown zone. In case of an engine failure that was a touch low for my money. None the less. Nice looking aircraft.
@Zenith Aircraft Company Can you provide a ballpark figure ( +/- $10k) of how much this plane is? I'm curious what I can reasonably expect to pay for the CH650 + UL power + 2x glass panels.
I wish I could buy one for our local aviation club in Algeria and donate it to them 😭 we have two Old Zlin that are not airworthy anymore so no more flying
Looked a little low on Final. You just touched beyond the threshold. Maybe come in a little higher just in case of an engine failure. You’ve got a long runway. You’d rather be halfway on it rather than just making short of it. Benefits of LSA is they have such good stopping distance, you don’t need 70% of that runway. It’s a really nice plane though, flies super well.
Sebastian - Magnificent video. Beautiful day, beautiful plane, nice music at just the right sound level.
Envious much!

Unbelievable effortless take off. Great aesthetic in this video.
Nice plane...You make it look so easy...
Lovely Aircraft.....Period !
great video. Isn't the hand position tiring?
Imagine a retractable gear version of the 650.
There is at least one. There’s even a video of it on Zenith’s channel.
Vídeo top é like garantindo. 👍🇧🇷
Es muy bonito
Please have someone do this plane for FS2020. 😎
Why oh why did you feel that music was necessary?

Was this recorded with a 360 camera?
No, just a GoPro camera mounted to the canopy with a suction cup RAM mount
Not to sound like a novice but could you tell me the difference between a light sport aircraft and an ultralight? Is this either one? Thanks

@@peteranderson037 thanks, that's very helpful.

About $65,000 as configured.
What is the purpose of the red angle on top of the glare shield?
Handhold. Something to grab on to while entering and exiting.

👏👏👏👏👌

How about a little help from a designer?
