McCusker's connect their 75th Newry natural gas customer
Since becoming a registered firmus energy installer just over a year ago, John McCusker of McCusker Gas Appliance & Oil Boiler Services of Newry has connected 75 natural gas customers in and around the Newry area.

With 2016 marking 25 years in the plumbing business for John, the boost from the additional 75 firmus energy connections has given him even more reason to celebrate. John McCusker comments:
“Since I became a registered firmus energy installer, the additional gas connections coming in have been great. With efficient boilers and many practical advantages, converting to natural gas is continuing to be a popular choice for people in the area. “We are very busy in and around Newry and I am extremely happy about that as I know many businesses have not been as fortunate since the recession hit.”
Retired teacher, Ronnie Hollywood from Newry, recently had his house converted to natural gas by John McCusker. He comments:
“The conversion to firmus energy was extremely easy and John did a great job of the work in my home. “I am particularly enjoying having instant hot water as my family all love showers and it is great not having to wait for the water to heat. I also love knowing that I will never run out of fuel and no oil tank gives me a bit of extra room in my garden. My house is cosier than ever, which has been lovely during the colder months.”
